New Year's Eve!

It's just a few more hours till the new year! 2010 is indeed going to be a GREAT one! The BEST one yet! Had an amazing time with MJ Zone! A tear-flowing Appreciation Lunch!! It's not even 2010 and yet I already have things lined up for the year! First week totally booked :D

Every year end we make resolutions,
every year end we hope for a change,
every year end we let go of excess baggage,
every year end we look back and give thanks,
every year end we look forward to a new beginning,
every year end its time to see the past as stepping stones,
every year end its time to see the future as an opportunity to take us higher!!

So lets start out with a BANG!! It is NEVER by might NEVER by power but BY HIS SPIRIT!!

Just to show you how BUSY I've been in December...

Two whole months worth of laundry...not only mine...in the WHOLE different piles...there's Rich and Bry's clothes....Note: all underwear and socks are in the washing machine already....took me a total of 3 days!!!

In Dec:

Flew Back to Brunei to....

I FINALLY got a haircut -_- hahhaha

Spent alot of time with an AMAZING family :D [Lifehouse] rocks!

Met up with my ex-classmates!

Laughed like a mental person with this bunch of crazies!

Finally spent time with my two gal pals after like A GAZILLION YEARS ;) HAHHA

Drove to the ends of the earth

Spent much quality time with my relatives!

GOT NEW GLASSES AFTER 4 YEARS!

Then flew back to Singapore just in time for:

CANDLELIGHT SERVICE!!

And also to be part of CHC Christmas Drama: A Christmas Love Story! Such a priveledge!

Had familiar faces over :)

Spent alot of quality time with my partner in crime >:}

Got to be closer to my Singapore family :D [W372] no better CG to be committed to!

Just enjoying the company of one another for a belated Xmas dinner :)

Had the privilege to take a picture with Sun! A SUPERSTAR!! :D

Yes Dec '09 Has been busy and totally amazing! But 2010 is coming up! And it's going to be the BEST year yet!!! Just you wait!!! It's going to be SPECTACULAR!!! All the other years are crying because they can't live up to what 2010 is going to bring!

Had a truly amazing weekend! Pastor Kong's BACK!! :D his 19th day of fasting on Saturday! Such presence that he carries! Always go in expectant and come out overfilled! Learned so much from him over and over again! Am super glad that I am planted in CHC :)

Then the usual amazing CG meeting with Darryl! Full of faith and power! Thank You God for always showing up in our cell group! Brought home with me a lot of what Darryl shared with the cell group, it was such a heart to heart meeting :)

A lot of questions were asked, a challenge was given, why are we doing what we are doing? When we say we’re not ready, are we saying that we’re so terrible to the point where the MOST PERFECT GOD cannot use us?

We need to understand and know our motive, our purpose behind our actions! We need always to be willing to move when He moves, to let our every motive and purpose to be backed up with the love for God and the love for people! If we love God so much, by default we would only want to please Him, and reaching out to people, loving people would be on top of that list! Even if we love people, by default we would want them to know our Father, to help be that bridge to help others to know Him, to care for others just as He cares for us!

Krystle's Chicken Pasta!! or....

So this is just for you krys!!

You would need:

a miracle to happen for it to turn out great~ hahaha....check cause you have me~ ;)
1 whole chicken chop into various small and EDIBLE portions! Mental....whole chicken can fit into your mouth meh~ or maybe just an entire thigh~ hahahah
3 tablespoon Parsley finely chopped
4 cloves Garlic finely chopped
3/4 of an Onion finely chopped
Half a block of butter
2 potatoes dices
1 carrot diced
2-4 strips of bacon chopped here and there to little bits (optional...but knowing you...)
1L of milk
Chicken Stock
CHEESE!!!half of the 250Philadelphia Cream Cheese!
and DUH pasta~~ up to you...which one you want :p
and of course the usual things....oil, salt, pepper, pan, spatula, hahaha assuming you're aren't THAT cheap as to borrow these things from friends when you need to cook HAHAHAHA well I do it sometimes~ so it's ok :) hahaha

OK After having all of these ingredients ready....which again a miracle needs to happen~

Boil pasta in salted water...NOT TOO SALTY!!! Later Kidney Failure!! Now while waiting...don't go facebooking looking for you know who~ ;) HAHAHAH
In a saucepan, melt the butter, like the whole block, under LOW HEAT!!! LOW AH KRYS!!! If the butter becomes black or brown...which I hope it doesn't it means you didn't follow instructions! HAHAHHA
After butter fully melted, turn heat to HIGH and then throw in the order....parsley, garlic onion! Leaving a small time interval after every throw~ HAHAHAH small time interval...i think my science nerd is kicking in....
After garlic a lil brown and onions a lil crunchy....then throw in the potatoes and carrots! Stir fry for at least 5-10mins!! Then pour in like 1/4 of the milk first...you do know 1/4 of 1L is 250ml right? HAHAHAH loving this~
Then bring the whole thing to boil under medium heat and then simmer it under low heat for another 10-15mins and stirring it OCCASIONALLY!! Later bottom part hangus~
Then throw in all the chicken and then pour in another 250ml of milk and again simmer under low heat....this time until the chicken meat is all cooked!!
DON'T PORGET ABOUT YOUR PASTA!!! By now it should be cooked! So drain it!! and set aside! Also while waitig for the chicken to cook, you should do the optional bacon thing...fry them in a separate pan till they're all crispy :D and set aside!
Once chicken is cook, first add the cheese and then keep stirring it until cheese is finally intwined with the sauce :D hahahah loves it...intwined~
Then add chicken stock, salt and pepper to suit your own taste! PLS KRYS ADD A LIL BIT AT A TIME!!! And taste after each addition! I don't want you to die of kidney failure!!
Pls note you now have 500ml of milk leftover right~ it's for you to add into the sauce here and there when it becomes too thick!!
Now if it's TOO WATERY!!! Add more cheese....:D milk and cheese counter effect the wateriness and thickness of the sauce!!
Then once sauce is all done~~~ Add in the bacon bits and then the obvious....put pasta on plate, fully saturate your pasta with the sauce and eat lah! HAHAHAHA

OK now...this is ONE WAY of doing it....Can't really see you doing so much things in a day...cause believe you me...sometimes we're both not that semangat to go through all that trouble! Hahhaha in other words...LAZY!!! So here's

KICAP AYAM!!!

EASY ONE:

Chicken chopped to pieces
10 garlic cloves are just crushed!
1 and a half middle finger LONG of Ginger! HAHAHAH not one middle finger...not asking you to be vulgar or a cannibal! Ginger just slice it
2 Potatoes slice however you want :) but not whole though
1 carrot...same as potatoes
Kicap Manis (Sweet Soya Sauce)
Soy Sauce
Oyster Sauce
A LIL chicken stock!
Oil...

Super easy!!!

Heat up oil, throw in garlic and fry till its browning, then throw in ginger.
Then throw in potatoes and carrots fry for like maybe 1-3mins
SPAM as in IMMERSE not spam as in ham....SPAM as in gaming term HAHAHAHAh so yes immerse the whole thing with all the sauces!!! here's the ratio you should follow 4portions of Kicap Manis to 1 Portion of Soy Sauce to 2 Portions of Oyster sauce!! Just add lah basically!
Then fry a bit and then add in the chicken, and then add like maybe 2cups of water and then just simmer the whole thing for like 30-45mins, just stir ONCE IN AWHILE!! In this case while waiting you can go and be cheeky on facebook~
If after simmering chicken/potatoes/carrots not cooked yet, add more water and simmer again! Simmering her is the most important!!
After all cook, taste, if not strong enough add more of the sauces and a lil chicken stock, and add more water and continue simmering :D
This one eat with rice lah!!! And omg rice....JUST GO YOUTUBE AND LEARN HOW TO COOK! ORRRRRR buy chinese takeaway...just say I want rice~ HAHAHAHAH

Got to go to ION orchard to help with the Lego foundation Chariy Event with CHCSA!! "We are One" http://www.weareone.sg/ super cool, they have a web streaming tab that enables you to track the progress!! It's still going on! So if you're in Singapore! Also at ION had a wonderful Hokkaido Ramen lunch/tea with Pearly and Wei Lin!! Thank you Jeremy and Ling for introducing the place! Can't get enough of it!

Pastor Kong, Pastor Tan and Darryl have all been giving amazing sermons week after week after week, building and connecting their sermons from glory to glory! Am so HAPPY that I am in the CHC family!! :D
Had an amazing OVERNIGHT PRAYER MEETING!!! 9pm till 3am!! Really an awesome time! Filled with breakthroughs and new revelations!! MJ zone is truly AWESOME!! In MJ anything is possible!!

So yes! I think that's about it....well I think! Now Since exams are over :) I am free free free!! Going to be involve in Christmas Dram! WOOTWOOT!!! And this Thursday am so spoiling myself!! Thank you Pearly, Mei Ling and Wei Ling for coming with me this Thursday! Pedicure, maybe a movie and then CRYSTAL JADE BUFFET!! Should starve myself this entire week ahahhaha! So if you have been following me on my twitter or facebook page then you would know that I got myself a 64GB iTouch just very recently!! Oh the joy that a little gadget can bring to a person's life :) it's really the most nifty little gadget! And when you have add the wifi Internet function.....it becomes a very powerful little thing! And you can basically do ANYTHING you want to do on an iTouch! It's just so cool! I mean it's like having a 100+grams laptop in your hands! And it's so easy to bring it all around with you! For me with the iTouch I can watch YouTube videos on one hand and using my other free hand to cook or something. It's so small! I can also bring it into the toilet with me >:] to listen music of course~ or.......compose a blog will I'm pooing~ hahahahah seriously the iTouch is really just BOOMZ heheh Singapore inside joke :p

you're probably saying....."wah piang eh just for an iTouch must say so many words!" and it's true I MUST say alot of words cause it's one of the most coolest gadget that my brother has ever bought for me! yup I said it right....Benny got me the iTouch! No strings attached and brand new! it wasn't a pass me down or hand me down or whatver....it's BRAND NEW and it's has MY NAME written all over it :D so why shouldn't I use alot of words to talk about my iTouch~ I'm just so happy that I finally got it and I want to tell just about everyone all about it and it's awesomeness and just how amazing it is! And that's what got me thinking...With so many things that are going on around our lives today, when do we take time out to truly appreciate all that is really important~ bringing it deeper how much time do we take time to just say I Love You to the One who truly matters above all? There are truly so many things that surround us everyday, taking up alot of out time, dominating the majority of our daily conversations among peers, be it new gadgets, an upcoming event, an unexpected situation, a horrific news that just hit, even a topic like "where to get the best bak kut teh" can be carried on for over an hour....

It's not a bad thing to be immersed in the social pop culture of our times, but there always has to be a balance for everything. Too much of something is always bad. I've just been learning so many new and wonderful things from Pastor Kong, Pastor Tan, and Darryl all in a span of 8days! It's just amazing how all of the leaders flow so smoothly together! And that's truly how it's suppose to be! From Pastor Kong got a new revalation how Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!" alot of times the verse is used to encourage people to do the impossible, but when you look at the bigger picture, it's main purpose was to let people know that WHEN they are facing any or ALL storms in their life....they CAN STILL MOVE ON THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS!!! :D

Then from both Pastor Tan and Darryl their message on being true worsippers were simply mind blowing! Darryl was sharing with us how we should always always [choose God and never the blessing] the blessings are but a by-product of the relationship we have with God! Pastor Tan truly just took the stage with his preaching on John 4! How in the heart of God, He just wants to know if we really know how to worship Him, of all the things that we can do, the first thing that God wants to settle in us, is who are we going to worship?

There are just so many things that surrounds our daily lives! And they are new and exciting things! We should always stay updated with the latest trends, be updated with the latest news and be well verse with the pop culture of our society in our time so that we can indeed be salt and light wherever we go! But but but we gotta have that balance and we gotta set our priorities straight, that after all is said and done we will set time, put a significant portion of our day aside just so we can be true worshippers of God! We gotta have that small tent of meeting outside it all, a small tent which is so far out, that in the tent the world outside just melts away and it's just us and God...and it's just us being there with all our heart with all our soul with all our might just worshipping Him!

So yes! It's super late at night and much later in the land down under...due to the time difference not to mention their daylight savings....so it's about 3:40AM there right now...and yet she was up! I am talking about the princess diva of Brunei....Lim Yee Won ;)

I had no idea how much I've missed her until we skyped! Hahaha it's all the little things that we do when we're talking! Making each other laugh like there's no tomorrow, we sang, we danced! HAHAHAHA and boy did we dance! All the single ladies yo~

We didn't steal things though...but I am pretty sure if we had the chance we would ;) hahaha

The HORROR!!! And to think that was just 3 years ago...the horror...the pain...the double chin...it looks like the unstoppable blob that can ingest anything it touches...it looks like my face was attached to the chin rather than it being the other way around! HAHAHAH I can make fat jokes, I think I as a formerly fat person I have the right to make as much fat jokes as I want to :P

So as she was just reading this out loud to me, inputting the usual tones and effects that I've come accustomed and familiar to...we laughed and laughed, at the same time in the midst of all that laughter a switch clicked in my mind and it started working in overdrive, remembering my first time :)

It was in the Saint Andrew's School Conference Room...where all the teachers/board members/councillors meet for their meetings hahaha "meet for their meetings" its redundant...but anyways, that's during the weekdays or school days, but I remember 2002, the year that everything changed!

It was Feb-March and everyone was talking about this camp during the March holidays...everyone was asking everyone will he/she be going? New to the whole concept, I thought it was a camping trip...with bonfires and everything...but boy was I mistaken...but never regretted one bit! What never occurred to me during that time was why the non-muslim rule....

So I went...and realised I was in for an unforgettable experience! It was great I remembered! Checked in and met up with team members who were all very welcomming! Team building activities....Kuhlman we were called.....back then...Kuhlman just sounded like a cool word...like [CoolMan]....Inter-team games....the only other team I remember was Wigglesworth...cause I thought what a funny name....Dinner....and then...

Session 1

Songs...Introductions...A man speaking...and then the most vivid memory...slow songs...and the man asking for people to go to the front...and then hands to head...and people suddenly falling down...people were crying...weeping....some were even screaming...one was rolling around and fisting the ground...

Everyone else was just singing and having their hands raised...what was I and Javon to do...my partner in crime...it was the first time...especially for me...so we ran out of the conference room down to the canteen and was scared we would be "effected" by this craziness...

But God knows everything, and He knows when to act :) of course back then I didn't know this...I thought that a busybody teacher just wanted us to get back into the room with the crazy-ies....Ms. Pushpa...truly an anointed woman of God! Loving and devoted, caring and motherly, understanding and full of patience...

Questions were thrown at her...questions were all answered...uncertain and yet intrigued...we were down in the canteen waiting for everyone to come back down...then supper...followed by many unanswered questions before lights out...

The next day....breakfast...session...no crazies...lunch...games...dinner...and then...

Session 3...it was here where everything changed! The man called for people to come to the front again...tears flowing down...tears of true joy...having a void filled...having met the One and only...Tears of pain being washed away...tears of happiness for the acceptance...words were said by the man...and I echoed it perfectly...word for word...filled with emotion...with awe and devotion...and in Jesus Name...Amen....

It has been over 7 years...and He still surprises me with new things each and every day! What I said in March 2002 I still mean every word of it! The song I sang I still mean every word of it! wait EXPECTANTLY!

Psalms 5:3

In a day, 24hours, how often are you in the state of waiting for something, for anything really...be it waiting for the bus, waiting for the train, waiting for your food to be cooked, waiting for your parents to pick you up, waiting in the line at the supermarket, waiting for the time to pass, waiting for friend/s to arrive, waiting for an event to begin or even for it to end, waiting for a waiter to serve you or to take your order, waiting at the gas station, waiting for your face mask to dry out so you can peel it, waiting for your favourite show to come on the TV, waiting for God?

Just think about it, today how much time did you spend just waiting?

Now how much time did you spend today waiting on God?

That's what hit me when I read the verse...very often we just come to God showing him a list of things that we want, a list of wants, a list of needs, a list of desires, a list of lists! More often than not sometimes we rush through things, even the more important things in life, for what? To wait yet again for another thing to come by...

I am not saying that we should all just stay in our rooms 24/7 just waiting and waiting, cause then it'll be unproductive, and we know that we were all created to be productive! But it is important to know that whenever we come into His awesome presence, we shouldn't rush through things, we shouldn't just touch and go, we should be ready to be soaked completely, to be well and fully marinated by His presence.

When we marinate meat, to ensure that the sauce fully penetrates into the innermost parts we got to leave it overnight! BUT that's not the whole picture...yes we are to wait on God...and not rush through...BUT...you see, the verse doesn't just end with the word wait....it ends with the word...EXPECTANTLY!!

The word "expectantly" means to be in eager anticipation! And you're only eagerly anticipating good things, I mean have you ever heard of a child who's expectantly waiting to catch chicken pox? OK maybe not such a good illustration...cause some people do like to get sick so they can skip school...but you get the idea~

You're only in this state of expectancy for a good thing! This tells me one thing above all else...that when we wait for God...He wants us to wait EXPECTANTLY to show us something! And something GREAT!

Sometimes we don't like waiting, we want to see results, and to see it immediately! To see it now! IF not we just go looking for the next big thing! But God has His own perfect timing! God knows what is good for us at the perfect time, not too early not too late!

just a quick update, a funny update hehehe so last friday...in our Medical Physiology Labs we did a procedure called the skinfold test...it's a test to basically determine the percentage of fats that your body contain :) hehehehe

So we used this apparatus...

It's called a figure finder....

and ALSO the FAT-O-METER!!!!!!

AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA I laughed so much when my lecturer said it...well maybe not at first cause the first time I was like...wth...maybe she said wrong....then when I got to have it up close and personal ;) it WAS called the FAT-O-METER!! Wakakaka

So after the experiment...I am like 30% fats...which is WRONG by the way! Cause I am very sure the test has like a 10%-20% inaccuracy :P hahaha well in my books anyways...I REFUSE to believe that 30% of me is just adipose tissue...now that's just WRONG!

Hahaha although was kinda boh mood~ from the 30% went home and had dinner at like 12am? Well around that time eheheheh I cooked FROG!!! RIBBIT RIBBIT!!!

I was really mean I admit wakakak BUT I DON'T CARE!! :P So after he completely stopped eating the frog dish...I was like...hmmm...

and HE CONTINUED TO EAT ONCE AGAIN!!! It shows you what sort of person he is....condones the eating of cute fully yellow warm blooded animals....but when it comes to an amphibian....

Hahah then of course finally told him is was Frog >:] I am just so mischevious >:]

But of course I wasn't ALL BAD!! We had MOONCAKES FOR DESSERT!!!

The big one was given to me from a classmate of mine :) she's so sweet! Eheheh and the two little mini ones are made by the all to famous MR. ALEX CHUA!!! Tiramisu and Mint! What's more....they're SNOWSKINS MOONCAKES!!! Loves it!! Had a great time chomping them all down :) hehehehe

So yes that's my "quick" update eheheh next post will be inspiring :) I promise you :) and as I've promised~ My Word is My Bond! :D

HAHAHA ok ok I am being overly dramatic!! I am just ecstatic right now! Hahaha listening to KT Tunstall - Suddenly I see! It's such a cheerful song!! When you hear the songs it somehow brings you to a beautiful meadow or something, with a rainbow, and golden sunlight radiating down and just seemingly bouncing off the vast array of flowers that are all over and having birds and bees or what nots just flying and buzzing busily creating a wonderful happy place where anything can happen, and all you need to do is just think it and *BANG* it'll happen!!

So far this week beginning from Saturday!

Awesome service as usual!!! Sermon was preached by THE MAN!!! Pastor Kong!! Wow seriously!! Convicted to change and to be the MAN God has called me out to be!! My word is indeed my bond!! One thing really stuck with me, how if us guys don't fully fulfill our destiny we would hinder the destinies of the girls that are around us! Like our younger sisters, our girl cell group members, even our wives if we're married, or even our girlfriends! :O

Then Sunday!!! DARRYL'S BACK!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D From glory to glory!!!! She's truly a role model for anyone to follow!!! It's GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK DARRYL!!! CG was amazing as usual!! We learned about how we must have the conviction of knowing that despite everything, through whatever the circumstances that may surround us, we MUST KNOW that GOD LOVES US!!! :D

Got to prepare refreshments :) made Strawberry Cheesecake and Ham Sandwiches with Mushroom Sauce! :) it was well received by my CG heheheheh so supportive!! Joseph even asked me to set up an online bakery! HAHAHAH thank you Jo, for your vote of confidence :D

Near death experience? you ask~ Hahaha for those of you who don't know, Indonesia has been experiencing some strong earthquakes recently and SINGAPORE GOT HIT BY THE AFTERSHOCKS!! Tremors or something! And I FELT TWO!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahhaha one on Wednesday Evening and the other on Thursday morning!!!

It was NOT COOL!!! Hahah the first one i was like "WHAT THE HECK?!?!?" Like my whole bed was swinging like that and I was thinking "Is there something under my bed?" then I though..."Did Richmond bring a live animal into the room last night and not tell me about it?" HAHAHHAHA crazy I know~ but hey! How was I suppose to make sense of my bed swinging to and fro~ then I stood up and realised the whole apartment was swaying~ So i thought construction....but didn't hear anything~ so I was like WTH could it be?!?!? Hahahah so finally called Pearly.... :) hahaha

Ok I DIDN"T know that Singapore could be affected ok~ the only thing I learned in Geography was that Singapore had no fault line so confirm no earthquake, same as Brunei~ BUT hahaha apparently Singapore is close to Sumatra.....So if got super huge earthquake there....Singapore can experience aftershocks :S

So I was like WTH!!! I don't my apartment to come crumbling down!! I mean who actually wants that right?!?!? Hahhaah but IT"S OK!!! No problemo~~~ The NEA....well I think that's what they're called....National Environment Agency....I THINK~~~ Says there's no need to worry!!! They did however state that....well maybe not them lah....but another government association thingi...Singapore will have a 12% increase in Electricity Charge in October :S

So yes, left right and centre! I've just been doing so many things lately that I can pinpoint ONE particular topic that I am interested in! Haha so it's just about everything!! So just saw the news that there was an Orange Dust storm in Sydney, so our of concern immediately sms-ed Von...only to find out....the dust storm was yesterday -_-

Hahaha then she asked me to look for pictures on flickr....

Really love these pictures :] they're just so visual!! And there wasn't any filtering or photoshoping....haha just normal pictures taken using normal camera functions....well at least that's what they said...go to http://www.flickr.com/groups/1239213@N21/ to find out more! Von was saying how people were saying "Jesus was coming!" um....o.....k.....hahaha

So yeah was just telling Von how when I saw the pictures I was thinking, where other people were saying "JESUS IS COMING JESUS IS COMING JESUS IS COMING!!!!" some are going all out to take loads of pictures, while the sane ones are....well how can there be any sane people when it comes to orange dust like totally in your face! Hahaha

And I loved what Von said! "thank God when Jesus comes it won't be orange dust everywhere until it's unbreathable..." HAHHAHA how you know there won't be any orange dust~ HAHAHAHA over man~

Also got myself a new toy! Well not a new toy....but a MUCH NEEDED EARPHONES!!! but of course I picked the very pretty one~ hahaha ok the RUGGED ONE!!! isn't it RUGGED!!! Was so happy!! :] that while they were in Singapore I got to bring them to City Harvest Church! :D :D the BEST CHURCH IN SINGAPORE!!!!! There's no other better place to be on a weekend then in CHC :D

And they were in for a TREAT! Pastor Kong was preaching! :D it was AWESOME!! Pastor preached on the WHOLE BOOK OF JONAH!!! Hahaha so Ben and Gette basically did a Bible Study on the Book of Jonah!! And they enjoyed themselves :] which was awesome! I got to see how it would be if my whole family were to go to Church regularly together and to serve together :']

Believing and praying for that day to come! To come soon! :D

It has been close to a month since I last blogged! Like man! It has been such a LONG time! I honestly can’t remember every EXACT detail of things that I’ve been doing for the past month! This is why we should never ever procrastinate! I always tell myself…”there’s still a tomorrow to blog, don’t worry your pictures and words won’t go away~”

But let me tell you, THEY DO!! Well maybe not my pictures but my words! Had so many inspiring and also funny entries that I wanted to share but now, I’ve really forgotten them! So no more procrastinating! I am going to blog regularly again :)
Here’s the gist of things that I wanted to say:

Once again I just want to say, it’s great to be back in Singapore! I am so glad to be back in the place where I am suppose to be! To be here in sunny Singapore for a purpose, and to finish and accomplish my purpose, to finish and to finish well! So blessed to be planted in an AMAZING cell group in an amazing church! There’s no better place to be in Singapore than to be in W372 of City Harvest Church!

In just a month I’ve learnt a lot from Pastor Kong, Pastor Tan and Pastor Phil! They’re just so inspiring bringing people closer and closer to God! The only reason as to why we’re even alive :)

“Music is the avenue by which the presence of God can flow”

“What the world sees as small and insignificant….God sees HUGE potential for a BREAKTHROUGH”

“It starts with a THEN….everyone has a THEN moment!”

“All of us has a choice to STOP….to give up…to stop repenting…”

These are but some of the inspiring and motivational things that just impacted me so far! Of course there are more! Revelation after revelations! Thank You God for planting me in such an Extraordinary family! :)

And of course CG :D loving W37, my Singapore family more and more each week! Just one more day till we get to meet once again as a family, serving one another, loving one another, building one another, sharing with one another, and just enjoying each other’s company! I love you w372! Have learned so much from all the three CGLs that have been coming to our CG! Thank you Royston, Jason and How Han!! Also to Benedict and Valerie :) greatest guitar players anyone can ask for! :D and of course Joel!! You’re the best bro!

Really miss having Darryl! MISS YOU LOADS DARRYL!!! Congratulations once again :D Baby Lauren is SOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE!!!! I really can't wait to have you back in leading the cell group once again Darryl! MISSING YOU SO MUCH!!! :D :D :D :D :D

And of course besides Church and Cell Group there's also school! Uni life has been great! Have been handing in lab reports and assignments on time :) and really learning a lot! Loves my lab works! ;) we ALMOST got to dissect frogs the other day....but all we got to do was play with our classmates saliva....Diana...I know you would have love this lab work ;) hehehe

Basically Church, Cell Group and School are a big part of my life! No regrets! No complaints! I am glad! God is GREAT!! Love You Dad!! You're the BEST!!

And of course I love my family too!!! But that's for later ;)

Had so much fun with Jeremy, Ling, Alex and Ting for four days :) in a week! Had dinner in their place and just cleaned out their apartment! :) its always refreshing to hang out with Jeremy and Ling! My spiritual parents! :D Love you JJL!!!

My favourite verse! Matthew 6:33 and below are copper coins which the widow place as an offering to God....just think....just two of these....and it made all the difference! It's never about the amount! Its the attitude behind the amount! :D

And of course with Alex in the house! There's bound to be cake tasting! :D

Had a wonderful SURPRISE!!! Not only did I get to hang out with Jeremy and Ling for 4 days! Or have Alex in town! and Paul too! Also had JAVON!!! Hahah Ah leong Ah leong....can't believe....all the way just to buy underwear -_-

For those of you who don't know, Javon's the reason why I am outgoing! Hahaha and also why I know so many dirty things....hahah he just totally corrupted my mind in my lower secondary years :P haha but I love him! Miss you bro! It has been 8 years! Wonder what the future holds!

Also went clubbing! Had tequila shots, an apple martini and Vodka with cranberry juice, don't fret...wasn't even close to tipsy~~ made me miss my secondary friends even more! Bet we would have dance like there's no tomorrow if we were all together!! Especially Krystle....danced till the entire house fell apart! :D LOL

A GREAT reminder of why you shouldn't smoke! SO if you are...STOP and if you aren't...don't you dare try even just ONE puff.....or else.....its dentures when you're 30!

Ah Datin Chua! Such an honour and privilege to be able to be in your presence~ HAHHAHA Joyce thanks for all your Godly advices! Your love and your continual kindness and example that you set for so many people! Love you loads!!! Can't wait to hang out with you soon!

It has been SIX YEARS ALREADY!!! But some little things will never change! Some big things never change too!! once again HAPPY belated 6TH ANNIVERSARY JJL!!!! Was awesome to celebrate it with you guys! :') another one on the way! Can't wait till November!!!

Here's the family part! Really miss my parents! Not so much my sibling....cause they're now in SINGAPORE!!! Hahah both of them are sleeping at the moment! with me busy typing away~ See how cool it is to either wear contact lenses or have perfect 20/20 vision....you get t wear sunnies....

Oh yes....before I go on....look at my pretty pedicured toe nails :) hahaha yes....yes....my second toe is longer....its GENETICS OK~~~ so sue me~

Had no idea how much I miss them! Haven't spent such quality time with just the three of us in a very long time! Thank You God for giving me such wonderful siblings! Three of us might have our differences but we love each othertobits!!

We have just 2 more days! Am really going to miss them so much! Laughing till we cry! Sibling rivalry....oh so common!! Bickering and bickering.....there's never seems to be an end~ and of course the oh so rare united as one~ when it does happen miracles are sure to follow~ hahah

Love them both so much! Ben and Gette, no one can ask for better sibling than the two of you!! Love you guys!!! :D

In just 8 to 9 hours we'll be rocking maybe Clarke Quay~ Hahaha don't worry I am a very responsible Eldest brother! Nothing's going to happen in Clarke Quay~ ;)

So here goes...

I have been UBER busy and also UBER slack!

There's so many things that can happen in 17 days!

Back in Singapore just in time for my Church's, CITY HARVEST CHURCH 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION!!! It was AWESOME! Queue up from 7.30AM until like 9AM! :D and stayed all the way till 3.30pm! :D Tremendously BLESSED AND INSPIRED to grow and keep on growing!!! CHC is the same age as me :) [little pleasures]
CG CG CG CG CG CG CG CG CG CG CG CG CG!!!!!!!! W372!!!!!! Since the 1st of August I have been to two CG meetings :D and both were :') I am so HAPPY to be in W372! So HAPPY to be back with my Singapore family once again! So happy to be involved in CG once again! So happy to just see each and every one of them again :') I love ALL of YOU SO MUCH!!!! :')
Then of course SERVICE!!!!!! Pastor Kong's timely message on Praise and Worship! Presence of God was so strong! Especially when everyone in Expo Hall 8, just knelt down together as a Church, just worshipping Him!! Challenged to just go all out when it comes to praise and worship! :D Then SOT 2009 GRADUATION SERVICE!!!!! Wanna say......

Settling in GREAT in my new apartment at Eunos!! :D Rich and Bry has LOTS to learn! But they are learning :D which is a relief! Thank YOU GOD for always enlarging my capacity for patience :) only by YOUR Strength :) Hahaha they're not THAT bad! But Trust me, you would need a LOT of energy when you live with such energetic growing boys! With them, we've used the washing machine SO MANY TIMES like it's nobody's business! And I have this new found love for MOPPING!!! :D Went to IKEA AND DAISO to get things to make the apartment more homey~ and it's getting along GREAT!! Can't wait to have family and friends over :D
Of course SCHOOL!!! :D This Semester is just lets say....very um....graphical...hahaha....we have one ENTIRE module dedicated to Biological Reproduction and Embryology...So just think why it's so graphical...I actually saw spots...after seeing the pictures/diagrams that we must draw for our exams :O but of course school is great! Most probably be getting my results today! :D YIPEE!!! Can't wait! Result were out like YONKERS ago...ok...ok...like a month ago.....BUT it was sent by SNAIL MAIL!! And no one informed me until last Friday -_- and I still haven't received ANYTHING -_- I WANNA KNOW MY RESULTS!!!!
Then the usuals~ Cooking quite alot now :) cause I have gas :) using the internet to catch up with friends all over the world, updating various thingis, getting updated with pop culture >:} if you know what I mean~ cause Starhub Internet is UBERLY FAST!!!! Loving my Faceshop products :) Palm Sugar Scrub and Seaweed Face Mask Cream!!! Oh the joy I get on Wednesdays ^^
Last but not least.....JUST BOUGHT A COAT FOR $49 FROM TOPMAN!!!! CLEARANCE SALES!!! Last piece!! It was down from a WHOPPING $216!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D Loves the COAT!!! Actually went to a total of 6 TOPMAN around Singapore just looking for the coat! Thank God I found it!!! ^^

Hey all!! Am glad to be back to blogging after 17 long days!! In just 18 hours I'll be flying off, leaving Brunei for months :(

For some reason this trip is making me more home sick than ever! I really can't wait to be back in Singapore, but I guess I really just want to have more time, just a few more days with my family and friends here!

And I've done ALOT in just 17 days! I've did so much that I've lost 3KGs! Hahaha amazing isn't it~ losing weight even when I'm eating like a monster here in Brunei ;)

I am ^^ to see that you are still coming to my blog despite it being dead for a little while but it's up and running once again :) I've been more "alive" in a sense in Facebook :) hahaha in Joshua's own words "I've been very happening in Facebook" in regards to me uploading multitudes of pictures at one go~

Oh yes as usual:

WARNING : this post will be extremely long...even if it's going to be in point form (in just a few more lines) it'll still be a long post! So friends who either are faint-hearted / have the attention span of a....you fill in the blank yourself / are just too lazy to bother to read EVERYTHING....it's ok~ you're forgiven hahahaha

So yes~ I've been busy busy busy! Spending time with my family, meeting up with my friends, going places...in Brunei -_- hahaha helping out wherever I can in Church, eating...oh the eating, cooking, playing board games till daylight~ just ALOT of things! I am definitely going to miss my family and friends who are all here in Brunei at the moment, but at the same time I really can't wait to be back in SINGAPORE!!!

ALOT of exciting things are going to happen in Singapore! I can't wait to be back and to just be a part of EVERYTHING!!! Really miss CHC so much! Miss my cell group W372!!! Miss all of my CG members!! My CG Leader Darryl!! Just everyone!!! I even miss school! hahaha oh shutup~ I can be a nerd if I want to ok~

So I really really can't wait to be back in Singapore! But yes as I keep mentioning I've been super busy busy busy hahaha and this is what I've been up to, until I didn't have time to blog each and everyday:

Von's surprise farewell and packing day....it really took up an entire day! The packing was CRAZY~~~~ also had a mini "photoshoot" -_-
Von's airport send off....took up like 4 hours heheheh
cut my extremely long hair and dyed it brown and red ^^ am SO HAPPY with the outcome!
Sent sister to school every morning!
And after sending her to school would go Tasek to go jog/hash/hike :D
Had sleepovers one at Shaun's place, one at Richmond's place and two at my place!
At Shaun's stayed up till like 6PLUS IN THE MORNING playing MONOPOLY!!! Idiot~
At Richmond's place stayed up will like 7PLUS IN THE MORNING playing DOTA/HERO SIEGE heheheh was really satisfied after that!
At my place stayed up only till 3 in the morning ^^ that's how it's suppose to be, playing monopoly hahaha
Also at my place had a great time just talking and sharing :)
Had countless board games night at various venues~ Monopoly, CLUEDO, MAD game, Pictionary and the Game of Life.....not much of a night life in Brunei you see~ hahaha
Dinners/Suppers with my family ^^ had SO MUCH FOOD ALL THE TIME!!! Felt like I was about to explode everytime after dinner with my family!
Went with Richmond for two days for his Medical checkup thingi -_- him and his stupid skin test -_-
MADE KAYA with my GRANDMA!!! ^^ turned out GREAT!! it's so addictive that you might get diabetes if you don't control yourself >:}
Cooked dinner for my family and relatives :D prepared Duck for the first time! Also had grilled pork with italian herbs, deep fried kailan, clam chowder with garlic bread and for dessert a heavenly Mango Icebox Cake thingi (seriously don't ask me what it's called)
Watched 3 movies in the cinema on 3 separate occasions: Ice Age 3, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and THE PROPOSAL :D
Watched only ONE movie at home hahahah Knocked Up! Funny funny funny~
Helped out in the AFC Talentine...was an experience to be remembered.
Because of Brunei water pimples started popping out all over my face BUT was able to buy facial products FOR A REASON in FaceShop!! wonderful wonderful ^^ using it once a week :)
Got to play with my 2 dogs and Benny's dog....a total of three dogs....Benny's dog is totally gay! HE tried to hump MY DOG....the MALE one -_- I wonder if the saying "Pets are like their owners" applies in this situation HAHAHAHAH
Ate like a monster!!! But still lost weight :D hehehehe 3kgs I lost!
Met up with countless number of people!!
WOKE UP AT 5.30am!!! Just to DRIVE to my aunty's place to celebrate her Birthday!!!! Like mental!!!
At one point during my "break" in Brunei I was so tired....I went over to Jason Tew's house to pick Bridgette up....went into his room...went to his bed...covered myself with his blanket and slept for 2 hours......hahaha poor Bridgette hahaha
DROVE DROVE DROVE DROVE DROVE all over!!! :D :D :D :D it's was SOOOOOOOOOO good to drive all around :D
went last minute shopping :) bought LOADS of stuff for Singapore :)
packed and packed and packed too much stuff...until I had an EXTRA luggage that I needed to pass to Steph to help me bring from Brunei to Singapore :D hahaha
And now here I am just Blogging :D

OK as of now I can't exactly remember EVERYTHING that I've done in Brunei~ cause there is just SO MUCH things that I did~ plus certain points have alot of sub-points such as:

I really don't know how I lost 3kgs after eating so much in such a short period of time...these are but a FEW of the things that I've eaten while I was in Brunei...it's not that I can't find them in Singapore...although some you really cannot find in Singapore loh~ like the CHICKEN BUTT hahahahaha....but sometimes food from your hometown just tastes better :) but Singapore food is still the BOMB!!! :D hahahahahah

HEhehehe so I think that's about the only things that I got to do when I was back in Brunei :) most of the time I just satyed home and just spent time with my family! Got to play with my little baby cousin Jaylene and my little nephew Aldrian! Omg how they've grown! Got to spend time with my Grandma too and just loving her dearly :) really really really just love her so much!

And of course my siblings....although Benny's always out...cause he can drive already....I still love him :D and Bridgette no need to say lah~ see her everyday for 17days~ HAHAHAHAH already memorize the number of moles she has on her face~ HAHAHAHHAAH and of course my LOVING PARENTS!!!! They give me anything I want loh~ hahahaha love them MUCH MUCH and DEEP DEEP!!!!

Will definitely miss them when I am in Singapore! But of course I can't wait to be back in Singapore! Loads to do! Loads to do! Can't wait to go to church at City Harvest! We'll be 20 years old soon!! :D :D :D and CELL GROUP!!!! W372!!!!!!!!!! Oh how I miss them so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 17 days is too long to be away from W372!!! The weeks are just not the same without them!!!!

Hey PEEPS! I know it took me awhile to update :P but I've been very busy! Since the last post I:

Got to serve in Choir for the amazing decentralised service by MJ and IC zone :]
Played human monopoly i.e. mini amazing race with zone members! Tiring but fun-filled
studying like a crazy person
finishing up assignments as fast as humanly possible
Went out with Ting 2-3 days in a row...(we were unsuccessful in what we wanted to do together : study)
Went shopping with Amilyn, who by the way bought SO MANY bags :P like berabis wah...
Looked high and low for an apartment
FOUND an apartment! It SSSSSSSSSSSSSWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTT~
Accompanied Aunt Alice, Bev and Bryant for close to a week :D
moved like 32476234762574 of my stuff to my new apartment ^^
Was the first one who handed in EVERY assignment :]
Went shopping for my family in Orchard :] but only got things for my Mum and Sis
also HAD to buy ba gua for Steph -_-
Went to clean up the apartment...found 2 dead cockroaches in my cupboard, thank goodness Aunt Alice was there :$
Went to IKEA!!!! :]
Power packed, eye-opening, jaw dropping, mind exploding, service with Dr.Ar.Bernard! :D
CELL GROUP!!!! :D I am missing all of them already!
Had two exams and know that I did well :]
Went to the Changi Airport at 11am this morning....only to realise flight was only at 2.05pm :X
Shopped at Changi Airport and got things for my Dad and Bro :] stressful I tell you....
Didn't realise but actually walked from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1 :O
Had a foot message in Changi ^^
Got onto the plane and then got delayed ON THE PLANE for the dumbest reason -_-

Two passengers were too late to board the plane, so they had checked in baggage so needed to remove them for security reasons -_- to top it all off...cause of the SLIGHT delay....Air Control Tower had to take 10-15mins just to change the route of the the plane I was on so it won't clash with another plane -_- this shows that even IF you like to shop there is always a time and place....if not cause mafan for everyone else only~

Reached KL early ^^ so glad cause had to immediately....
Check in again to for KL-Brunei flight
Skipping happily cause managed to check-in early and....
GOT TO HAVE KFC!!!! ^^
dropped my cap....picked it back up....continued typing....
Got to go in soon cause flight to Brunei is at 5.55pm such a nice number :)
Hopes that the flight won't be delayed!
Am already missing Singapore :( this week Pastor Kong would be preaching!

Taking TOO much taxi rides!

the narc' in me!

Hey all! So last week after my Recon mission....after the Step Up for charity event I went back to Vivo City on Thursday and allowed the Narc...as in the Narcissist (The attribute of the human psyche charactized by admiration of oneself but within normal limits) in me, to come out! Ok in simple terms....I have let the vain-ness in me to come out on Thursday!

I have a theory....When I was much bigger.....this 'vain" part of me...the "narc" part of me was SUFFOCATED by my fats and all...so it never Personified itself....HAHAHAHAH DEEP i know....ok lets not say personify....lets say it was never shown....

Then when I lost so much weight from WHOPPING 52 waist to a now 38 ^^ and still LOSING ^^ so yeah now that so much of my fats is GONE....the "vain" part of me got the Oxygen it needed and it took over the "low-key" part of me and that's when the personal photo shoot of myself happened!

So on Thursday I hit...... four different stores...TANGS, ZARA, TOPMAN and RIVER ISLAND!!!

In Tangs....

I FOUND BILLABONG THAT FIT ME!!! Hahahahaha I was OVERJOYED and I stayed in the Fitting room SO LONG to try to take pictures through self-timer but the camera didn't wanna BALANCE itself! So I gave up hahahaha and then I continued in Tangs...

Of course I would never really have a lifted collar...it's more a Benny thing~ hahahahah Just lifted the corner up for fun...and OMG i laughed at myself so many times!!

Then I hit Zara!

OMG I LOVE ZARA!!! But it's SO EXPENSIVE :'( the short pants is like $89.90!!! BUT IT'S SO NICE!!!! And the Scarf....steph...it's like $59.90....

So no thank you steph....even if it IS nice....$59.90....We can eat Seafood Buffet and get a drink and maybe one packet of Nasi Katok after that! HAHAHAHHAHA

So yeah this was how I "choose" my clothes...I grabbed any and ALL clothing that I would not normally wear or be able to fit in....leading to the fitting room....Then I would go in....and then match what I had as MUCH AS POSSIBLE! hahahahah Didn't want to go in and out ok~ So malu.....

Then I hit TOPMAN!!!!

Topman was ok...hahaha I'm more like WOW at their vests and their formal wear....but I didn't try any of them cause i CONFIRM know that i can fit ;) hahahaha

Last but not least RIVER ISLAND!!!

I really think I look good in a Beanie.....especially with my hair right now....it's so THICK....which I love...cause seriously....i am so SCARED of growing bald! So having thick hair is good....but according to Guo En....my CG member....it's Maggi Mee hair -_- hahahaha

Also tried on something that is a definite NO....but it was funny so I still posted it up!

Suspenders!! HAhahaha everyone was like "OMG BERNARD NO~" hahhahaha so I am actually very tempted to get them....just so I can wear them and NO ONE would want to go out with me :) so I can have more personal time HAHAHAHAH

And and and SKINNYS!!!!!!

LIKE OMG I WAS SO HAPPY!!! I actually laughed out loud INSIDE the fitting room and did a little dance/leap thingi.....

Cause right....I just took the pants cause it was my size....38 ^^ HEHEHHEHE SO HAPPY 38 leh~~~ And then when i put them on...I was like....is it suppose to be so tight at the bottom....and then when I removed them...after taking pictures of course....i saw the tag....

SKINNY!!!

AND I WAS LIKE :O OMG OMG OMG!!! I FIT INTO SKINNYS!!!!!!!

I WAS SO HAPPY!!! LIKE YOU HAVE NO IDEA!!! HAHAHAHAHH

and this is my personal favourite!

In river island...i think it's cause i laughed out loud and took a longer time....cause i really liked the beanie look...hahahah that the sales assistant actually came and knocked on the door and asked "Sir....are you ok?" HAHAHAHAHAH so malu~~~~

HAHAHAHAH yes....a lot of you like A LOT OF YOU....ok lets face it....ALL OF YOU are REALLY SHOCKED aren't you....none of you have ever seen me LIKE THIS!! Hahaha such vain-ness....such self love~ HAHAHHAHAHAHAH

And btw....if you're wondering....I spent 2 hours trying and taking pictures of all of these different styles...and No...i didn't buy a thing at all! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

So yeah....this is what I do to make myself happy!! Cause I was HUGE!! Come on man...I was so huge that:

if i were to dive into a pool at maximum speed it would create a mini tsunami~
if i were to fall on Sandeep...she would probably be hospitalised
if i were to fall there would be a earthquake
if a car were to bang into me....i would leave unscratched and the car would need to go to the workshop
if i were on a boat, i would be at one end, and everyone else would need to be on the other end...

but yeah I went to try on all the clothes as a form of retail therapy!!!! It makes me SO HAPPY to know that now I can buy clothes AND pants!! From ANYWHERE!!!! I no longer need to go to like SPECIAL SIZE shops to just find clothes! Now when I go out with friends or my family to shop....I CAN JOIN IN!!!! :D

So yes I HAVE the right to be vain! I HAVE the right to be a narc...even if it's just for a day! :D i am proud of myself for being able to lose so much weight!

Most importantly it's God who deserves all the PRAISE!!! Thank You God for giving me the discipline to eat less and exercise more! And helping me in losing so much weight in such a short period of time, and also for healing my body as i lose weight, that i have NO EXCESS SKIN!!! :D

So i am OVERJOYED!!! size 36 HERE I COME!!!! And for my cousin....I am so going to try to get pecs! HAHAHAHHAHA my cousin, An Shea has officially issued me a challenge! Hahaha and I am going to try to get pecs!!! :D HAHAHAHAHHAH anything IS POSSIBLE!!!!

Step Up 3!

HEY FRIENDS~ It already tomorrow! (if you read my previous post you’ll get this~)

So today I have really accomplished something! I went to VIVO CITY (a shopping mall in Singapore) and did my part for CHARITY!! HAHAHAHHA

I carried my cross and did a good thing by going to VIVO! HAHAHHA

It’s called Step Up for Charity! I am laughing cause my friends were like “HUH~~~ Charity at VIVO….so pampered man~” HAHAHAHAH

But it wasn’t an easy feat ok~ it was doable…but wasn’t easy!

So what you needed to do was to do 2500 step up on this machine :O

Hope there aren't any foot fetish people reading this blog :P hahaha

ANYWAYS.....for each 2500 step up a grocery bag would be donated to a needy family! So creative! Not only would you get to help in Charity but you would also become healthier….in a sense…cause you’ll be exercising! Hahahha

So a LOT of people turned up!!

And everyone did their part for charity! The goal was to reach 500 000 steps! And….

SO COOL RIGHT!! And this value was before they fully calculated everything! So it was really successful!

Pearly, Kiat Sen, Georgina, and Ginger was there too! And So was a lot of our MJ zone members!

It was really cool and funny at the same time because at first, everyone....like our zone members lah, we were l just doing our part to support the whole event....then....suddenly we got MOTIVE!!! To get a Teddy Bear!! HAHAHAHAHHAHA so when we manage to get 2500 steps....not only will we help in giving a needy family a grocery bag full of essential things...but we would also get a teddy bear!

So everyone tried lah, some more than once....some just once enough already...then we also had STRATEGY!!! Like HOW to do the step up! It was hilarious~ like some of the machines were EASIER and some were HARDER....so everyone always run to the easier machines!!! Hahahah

This was my first attempt! Notice the drop of sweat on the top HAHAHAHAH

Ok now...take note that the number shows 805 count....this actually mean 1610 steps!!! Hahahahah in 10minutes! Not bad right~ HAHAHAHHA but then....

Pearly did....

5000 steps in 40MINS!! hahaha and of course her being a girl more graceful and elegant lah! So didn't sweat as much....and pearly got TWO BEARS!!

then we had our NS man Kiat Seng who did....

12,300 STEPS IN CLOSE TO 70 MINS!!!! Hahahahahah and notice how the guys are more vigorous!! Hahahah we SWEAT man~ Which actually deserves like....4 bears!!!! hahaha but he only took two! He said he didn't wanna be so kiasu! HAHAHAHAH

Of course i REALLY wanted the bear too....so I made a second and third attempt....and combine EVERYTHING together! HAHAHAH

AND I GOT MY BEAR ^^ and Georgina also had Two BEARS!! HAHAHAHAH i was the only one in the Cell group who left with one bear! HAHAHA but hey!!! 2500 is ALOT of steps ok~ HAHAHHA

We had a lot of fun lah!! And then after the event we went with Chloe's Cell Group to eat at Long John's and we portrayed of so proudly how well everyone did!! Everyone of course had two bears....I only had one...HAHAHAHA but i was satisfied! HAHAHHA

Then after we went shopping! and I did recon....for.....(continued in next post!) ;)

Actually I wanted to set the post title just as “Banana Bananas…” But then it would be misleading cause that’s more than one…when I’m only talking about myself…

“HUH~” You ask….if you don’t already know what a Banana represent…let me educate you right now:

So yeah, the weekend was celebrity weekend and it was truly awesome!! I was excited, I was pumped up, I screamed, I clapped, I was inspired, I was motivated, a lot of friends came, response was amazing, Thank You God :D it was truly an amazing Saturday service! We even had light sticks ^^ I love light sticks or glow sticks….or whatever you call them!! HOWEVER I truly and surely felt like a Banana! A LOT of celebrities came!! Like very the famous ones!!

This is going to exciting!

Either way I was really happy cause they gave everyone lightsticks and it was so beautiful!

As most of the songs were in Chinese….and their testimonies…hehehe I got distracted easily and took....

Yi Quan noticed lah HAHAHAHA and so my attention was diverted back to the stage where I only caught things like “wo chen de” or things like “Kan xie Chu” hahaha I don’t think my pin yin is correct also…

But yeah I really did have an AMAZING time for celebrity weekend!!

So I am VERY EXCITED for tonight's Bible Study!! :D

Tonight it's going to be about Growing Love...even the title of tonight's bible study sounds intriguing!

So the day started out as usual...did the routine things, had lunch at MacDonald's...ordered way too much...holding on to an apple pie and McChicken right now...but something occurred to me when I used the toilet in Raffles Shopping Mall...

Noooooooooooooo~ Not something disgusting, but something that has been going on for quite some time, but I just JUST notice it...like well I have notice it before, but today I just decided to ponder about it....

When did the world become sooo Metrosexual~

So of course when I say metrosexual...I am immediately referring to the guys, I am sure you've never heard anyone saying..."Look that girl is such a metrosexual..." HAHHAHA or something along that line....

But yeah after using the toilet, you MUST wash your hands...it's proper hygiene...plus it lowers risk of spreading H1N1 hhahahah

So yes there I was...WAITING for an available sink...and then when one finally freed up and as I was looking at myself in the mirror, disgusted by a pimple on the left side of my face....I HATE pimples...hahahah who doesn't right~

So that's when I noticed...

I wasn't just looking at myself in the mirror...I was also setting my hair, checking out how my vest matched with my attire, making sure my belt is centralised, ensuring that my shirt was tucked in properly, that my glasses were in place...then I noticed the other guys at the sink area...ALL of them were doing the same things!

Ok maybe not the EXACT same things....but similar...making their hair look sharper...arranging their sunglasses...pulling up their pants and all this other things...

It is a good thing! But have you ever wondered when did it all start?

It used to be just..

In....flush...wash hands (sometimes this part never even included...NOT ME LAH!!! Other people)...and then out..

Now it's...

In....flush...wash hands...look into the mirror...check yourself out...pull out a comb...maybe some wax...arrange sunglasses/glasses...straighten out clothes...arrange accessories...and such...and THEN out...

Hahahahaha

Guess I am just more appearance conscious now that I have lost more weight! Hahaha cause soon I'll be able to buy more clothes!! :)

Leather jackets...never pants...hahahah....sunglasses...short pants...not short jeans...but short PANTS...you know the very very very nice ones...like stripes, checkered and so on :)......more tshirts...maybe just MAYBE a skinny....more vests...scarfs...belts...shoes...more accessories!!

Hahahah I am going to go crazy!!! I so need a shopping partner...KRYSTLE COME TO SINGAPORE!!!!!! You're the only one who will allow me to spend spend spend!! HAHHAHAH

Will be heading to Expo soon :) celebrating Ray's 19th Birthday!! It's going to awesome!!

I am not heartless ok....I just sometimes...SOMETIMES find videos like that being very prejudiced...I mean think about this...are you certain that from the video it's how EVERY AND ALL livestock farms are being conducted?

From that 12minutes video...which is DISGUSTING btw...*blehz* the blood *blehz* like just *blehz* so yeah anyways.....so from that 12 minutes video I am now suppose to become a vegetarian....

Hahahaha ok ok maybe I am going too extreme...but yeah videos like that just bothers me alot...like it's good to bring out awareness...and I am cool with if you are a vegetarian...I have LOADS of friends who swear on Tofu only...everything Tofu...I don't know how they actually eat Tofu 24/7...but they do....so I am not AGAINST someone who decides to be a Vegetarian...just videos where they try and MAKE you "WANT" to be a vegetarian....

It's like this...they expect people who have seen the video to "convert" into vegetarians...and then want them to pass the video on to "convert" others...I know all of you are not used to me being so overly analytical...but hey...this shall be a first...also it proves that I do do critical thinking from time to time....hahaha I don' waste my ENTIRE time watching YouTube videos of people screaming...hahahah

two days with THE Ting!

I DID spend TWO DAYS with THE TING!!

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH I just love thinking of creative ways to make you all laugh as soon as you read my posts...and pls don't lie I KNOW that you do laugh when you read my posts! I am watching you >:]

So yes I did spend two days with the Ting...ok lah not THE ting...but Ting...HAHHAHA

Thursday and Friday...

And let me tell you...two days in a row....is more than enough to last me a lifetime...

Here's what we did in two days:

Met up at JP (as in Jurong Point not Jerudong Park...we didn't go to Brunei for like A DAY...so wasting money if we did...hahah and even if we DID go to Brunei for a day...we wouldn't go to JP...we'll most probably hit EVERY and ALL food places that we miss! wakakak)
Watched Monsters Vs. Aliens :) so happy got to go wacth A MOVIE....haven't been into a Cinema for such a LONG time...too long...Movie was maybe 3/5 stars...
Went for the MOST STRESSFUL Grocery shopping you can EVER imagine!!!

Ting: Oh you're getting Milk....what milk are you getting?

Me: of course plain milk lah! Why would I put banana milk into Mushroom soup..

Ting: Ohhhh....I wanted to try banana milk...never tried it before...

Me: Ok loh get banana milk it's 2 for $5.45 anyways....(SO EXPENSIVE RIGHT MILK IN SINGAPORE!!)

Ting: *glanced over* actually I also want chocolate milk....

Me: I have no preference I only need plain milk...you can choose whichever...but if you cannot choose then I'll just get two plain milk!

Ting: NO!!! *immediately went to grab the banana milk*

Me: OK! That shows that you want the Banana Milk (I'm good at helping people make decisions ;) )

Ting: I only grabbed the banana milk cause it's closer....

Me: OMG CAN YOU JUST PICK ONE!!!

Ting: Um um um....*glances to and fro banana milk section and chocolate milk section*

and suddenly....*HALLELUYAH!!!* (there was like a beam of light accompanying this angelic figure that suddenly came out of nowhere)

Angelic Figure (who's really a sales-lady): *a thick singaporean accent* Oh you buying two ah, buy two get one small one for free

PHEW!!!!! But this was NOT the only indecision that THE TING had.....cheese lah....onions lah....meat products lah....hai.....

So anyways we also:

Met up with Joyce :) and went...well Joyce did lah...clothes shopping and and and I found out that it is CONFIRM CONFIRM....that I can fit size 38 PANTS!!!! :D woot woot...and it makes my butt looks SO MUCH SMALLER!!! Hahhaahah I am very happy ok~
Went off to Jeremy and Ling's place to cook dinner...only to find out that there was NO ELECTRICITY!! And had the funniest and saddest and silliest experience of all time...continued below...and

THANKS SO MUCH JEREMY AND LING FOR LETTING US USE YOUR KITCHEN TO COOK :D!!!!!!

Next day,Friday, met up to do a good thing :)
Rushed back to Ting's place for her to get ready for choir and me to raid her fridge, which was awesome btw~ hahahah
Rushed to Bible Study at Expo with Pastor Tan!!!! OMG SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD~
And went our separate ways....of course only after wasting my time walking her to her bus when I could have just left with my cell group....hai~ that's how much I love you ting... :P

But of course we DID get to catch up like ALOT!!! >:]

The DUMBEST story is of Her and Von...ok everyone get ready for this....*drumrolls*

While trying to...and I really stress on the word TRYING TO...make cupcakes...not anything complicated like hmmmmm I don't know....Rump Roast...but just plain old fashioned cup cakes... after putting them into the oven for a while....the cupcakes CAUGHT ON FIRE!!!!! and and and at 3 IN THE MORNING!!

Like WTH man! What did Ting and Von put into the cupcakes....Kerosene kah? Or maybe 100% alcohol....or even worse Zippo fluid (maybe they thought it would help cook the cupcakes faster...) HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA

I mean seriously man...cupcakes on FIRE!!! It's like only ever seen in Movies...but here we have it, real people who ACTUALLY nearly burn the house down by means of cupcakes!! HAHAHHA

So yes...it's been all words so far but here's the main thing of why we spent 2 days together....

TO COOK!!!

I was SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!! I Haven't cooked in a MONTH....and was seriously beginning to doubt my cooking skills but I still got it~ ;) hahaha

so yes there wasn't any electricity....so we cooked in....

CANDLELIGHT!!!

Oh PUHLEASE grow up!!! It wasn't romantic...it was however....HECTIC!!! But beautiful nonetheless.

Ingredients that we bought....and note for others who are planning to cook with Wei Ting...don't let her do ANY slicing!! You would totally die from starvation before she actually finishes just CHOPPING MUSHROOMS!!! Or anything else for that matter ;)

Notice there are some RED parts on the mushroom stalk...it's MY BLOOD HAHAHAHAHAH I cut myself....ACCIDENTLY!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not suicidal...but after 2 days with thing....I just might be.....and OF COURSE WE DIDN'T PUT THIS INTO THE SOUP!! Like EWWWWWWWWWWW~ hahahah

So two days with THE TING was really AWESOME...stressful....BUT AWESOME....hahahah

We obviously shared more stories......but that's to be shared at more appropriate times....like her wedding for example :p HAHAHAHAHAH

So if you're following my blog, you would know that I follow the Twilight Saga series, I am not like a fan FAN (you'll see why in a minute~) But I can't wait for the New Moon Movie to come out! It's coming out all the way in NOVEMBER!!! Grrrrr....of course there are other movies that I can't wait to watch! Transformers 2, Up, G-Force, Harry Potter and alot of other movies lah!

But yeah ALOT of you know that I watch TV WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much! Hey all! It has been awhile! So this post is basically a post with 3 mini posts~ *french accent* Creative no~

Power packed

Last weekend was just powerful! Service with Pastor Mike was awesome!! Mainly Pastor Mike flowed in the Power of the Holy Spirit and it was truly amazing and encouraging! He also shared about the story of the Leper and Jesus, Mark 1: 40-42! It was so heart piercing, in a good way :), and there were a lot of people who were set free! Liberated! It was truly an amazing service! Everyone was touched by the power of God! God's presence was so tangible from the beginning of the service, it just saturated the entire hall :D I am sure everyone wanted the service to go on and on and on :) this case was true for SOT batch 09! They had Pastor Mike for the weekdays too! Was just so happy to hear that the SOT batch had an awesome week with Pastor Mike! Will be hearing more from Ting very soon :P a lil' bit like home~

Cell group was amazing too!!! Darryl had us moving in the power of the Holy Spirit too! Well no one manifested during cell group meeting lah....we just learned about how to listen to God's voice and began to speak life into the lives of our cell group members! It was just refreshing! I am so glad that I am in such a loving family that is W372! There is no better place to be! To grow to learn to share to care to love :D

Hahhaha but this time I didn't go to Starbucks.....cause couldn't find any seats...so instead I went to.....

:D I had Diced Chicken in Djon Mustard Sauce, Pasta Salad with Bacon Bits and Starberry Cream which is chocolate based! I know I said I'll be having a coffee based drink the next time....but i meant STARBUCKS!!! :P

I know the picture not as apetizing at it's suppose to be because of the tissue papers....but what to do...had to share the table with someone else....hai~ and NO I did not get H1N1....or is it H5N1.....or is it H1N5.....HAHAHAHAHAHHAAH aiyah layman's term I didn't get sick :P

So arriving at the airport....and waiting for San to come out of the Arrival gate...cause she was transiting to ITALY!!! So waited and waited...then I thought to myself cannot be so long....So I called and she was in the toilet -_-

Should have guessed.....such a girl man~ HAHAHAHAH girl man....

So waited and waited again....then called again and this time.....

SHE COULDN'T COME OUT!!!!! The Immigration won't allow her...cause she would have to have a minimun of 5 hours between flights to able to come out! And also cause she needed a visa and they didn't want to give her one :(

My fault also....totally forget that San was Indian....as in Indian NATIONALITY!!! I am not racist ok~ maybe only once towards Krystle lah...HAHAHAHAH and ok ok occasionaly when I drive....I am a little racist....BUT other than that I am not! :P hahaha

So since the Arrival immigration officers didn't allow her out....we went ALL OVER the AIRPORT trying to see if the other officers....the Departure immigration officers, the ICA officers and the Police officers to see if either she can come out, or I can go in.....and cannot!!!

So we had to....talk through a glass wall -_-

It was so depressing!!!

Hahhahaah both of us felt like we were visiting either me visiting her or she visiting me in Prison like that....hahahah of course prison floors aren't carpeted....but still! Through a glass wall.....

We did manage to take dumb pictures.....HAHAHAHHA we couldn't stop laughing at ourselves! So since we couldn't talk TALK.....we decide to abuse Changi's free calls services >:)

So when I had to go catch my last train....San used the Airport's phone to call me and we talked! And boy did we talk!! Hahahhaah of course ofter 20minutes the call would have been cut off...but San would call again and again! Hahahahah until she finally had to board the plane bound for ITALY!!!

She's already in Italy for 4 days :( I am so envious! She's taken such nice PICTURES!!!!

But it was still GREAT to see San again! After such a long time!! Even though it was through a glass wall -_-

We didn't even get to give each other what we bought for each other....

So I didn't get to watch Angels and Demons, neither did I get to cry bucketful of tears cause I was not able to watch Grey's Anatomy, I ALSO didn't get to learn about the anatomy of angels and demons HAHAHAHAHA

What I did get to do was........

Go to STARBUCKS AGAIN!!! :D HAHAHAHAH But this was just yesterday! I didn't go three days in a row ok~ I am not made of money....I am however made of Starbucks vouchers HAHAHA This time round I had Mozerella Cheese Tomatoes and Wild Rocket with a non-coffee drink yet again, Chocolate Cream Chip Venti :)

The next time I go to Starbucks I will get a coffee based drink ok~

Also went out with my connect group!

Kiat Seng and Edwin couldn't make it, cause Kiat was held up in camp, BUT he'll be ORD SOON!!! ORD is yet another Singapore short form phrase....which I can't remember what it stands for exactly....but it's the term used to describe an NS (National Service) Man who has already served his country for the period of time needed....I wanted to say....Who has served his time in the army....but it sounds like being in jail hahahaha So anyways Edwin was stuck at home....So it was just Pearly, Mei Hui and Myself!

We went to Soup Spoon to have our dinner. Didn't get to take any pictures tough hehehe was too engrossed in the food to take my camera out hahahahah, Pearly had the Velvety Mushroom, Mei Hui had Clam Chowder and I had Beef something....hahahahah

The whole time we were planning "So what are we going to do after dinner?" In the end we decided to go to......

the Eight floor of the Fairmont Hotel to just chillax by the....

Of course Mei Hui was more adventurous....

I didn't want to play with water or go anywhere near the pool without having any extra clothes cause there was this one time, when I went to Seasons in Centrepoint in Brunei for the high tea buffet and like they have a pool on the outside....so I was jumping at the edge of the pool, missed my footing and my feet went into the pool....thank goodness my butt was very cushioned backed then and was really big, I fell and sat down HARD on the edge of the pool with the entire bottom half of my body in the pool making it completely wet!

It was so embarassing......the only good thing was....My jeans were dark blue so it wasn't SO OBVIOUS....but of course I had an audience....my siblings and Daphne, and when I went in to tell my Mum.....my new set of audiences grew......

So I learned never to try anything funny near a pool without having any change of clothes hahahaha

So we just chillax by the side of the pool just talking and getting to know more about each other :) it was really a great outing :D

Also got to take awesome pictures when we left.....

Aren't you just jealous of how beautiful my home is....

Well I don't live at the Esplanade lah, but it will only take me 30 or so minutes to get there :P hahahahha

Service this weekend is going to SPECTACULAR!!! Rev. Mike Connel is COMING!!! Am definitely excited and expecting for GREAT things to happen!!

Also will be helping out in a blood donation drive this Saturday....can't donate blood yet :( cause it has only been two months....wonder if I should tell the committee members that I have this thing for blood >:) wakakakakka

The weekend was a BLAST!!! For lots of various reasons! Firstly....I went to Starbucks two days in a row! Hahahaha

On Saturday, I went to just chillax before Service! Used up half of my Starbucks voucher which I got from last year's morning prayer meeting ^^ heheheh had Cream Based Vanilla Blended Tall with whipped cream and also had an Egg and Spinach Fritata Turkey Bacon and Cheese! It was a delight to just pamper myself hahahah not that I am not pampered enough....but after the whole "locked myself out of the room for 11 hours" thing I deserve to splurge a little!

Then off to Service with REV.DR.KIM!!!! And WOW!!! The Service was AMAZING as always! O'School did a dance during praise for Great is Our God, the Church Millennial Orchestra and Choir performed Hallelujah by....um....heheheh so malu....i forgot his name already...but He's a very famous Christian composer who created the Messiah piece thingi :$ hahahah so embarrassing trying to blog about something I am not really sure about, but either way, it was GREAT!!

Then REV.DR.KIM played the GRAND PIANO before going into the Word of God!!! :O WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH it was so inspiring!!! Rev. Dr. Kim then shared the message about Opening up Our Mouths! It was a simple BUT timely message for such a time as this! When the world economy seems to be getting worse everyday, we know that when we open up our mouths towards God, He will fill us with His Love and Joy, with Strong faith to move mountains, with Miracles that we need and with Abundance!! :D

We serve a GREAT GOD :D

Then SUNDAY!!! Went for yet another AMAZING CELL GROUP MEETING :D We continued learning about faith! On how faith first begins with a desire! Without a desire, how can we have faith! We looked at the woman with the issue of blood! How she first had the desire to see her miracle, then she Visualized, Confess and Rehearsed!!! V.C.R!! Darryl asked us to write down one particular desire that we have and gave challenged our faith, to see if that desire is worth our all, to see if we are doing the things we need to do for our desire to come alive!! :')

Then after cell group, we had a great time of fellowship! Hahaha and some of us stayed back to make a video for ESTHER (If you're reading my blog...HEY ESTHER!! MISSING YOU MORE AND MORE EACH DAY!! COME BACK SOON!! I am sure you enjoyed our video for you!!!)

The making of the video was HILARIOUS!!! We laughed until we cried!! Had goosebumps cause during "practice" we came up with really hair-standing suggestions HAHHAHAHA like either too cheesy lah or too unconventional HAHAHAHHAHAh Really wish I can upload the video and let you all watch! But must ask permission from the rest of the participants first ;) HAHAHHAHA but its all good~

Then STARBUCKS AGAIN!!!

This time I had Raspberry Blended Cream Venti with whipped cream and a Oven Toasted Chicken with Caesar Dressing.....weird huh....how I go to Starbucks but don't drink any coffee items HAHAHAHHA I am not a coffee guy....

According to Mei Lin and Pearly....the time in Starbucks is called my LB time....which means Lau Bernard time....HAHAHHAHAH On the bus Mei Lin was saying...I need more ML time....then I was trying to decipher what ML time means...I thought it meant something like My Lone time or something like My Life Time something along that line lah....cause Singaporeans love to make everything short form...hahahah for instance....

But now I am PRO in deciphering short hand messages HAHAH

So ANYWAYS!!! Yes ML time! So I gave up and just asked, and they were like...Oh it means Mei Lin time...HAHAHAH So meaning your "ME TIME" should now be called "(Your Initials) Time" so if your name is something like Pricilla Uppman, it'll be your PU time HAHAHHAHA P...U..time....later people think it's your toilet time HAHAHAHHAH

So yes my LB time was productive! Hahahahah Emailed, catch up with h/w, chatted with friends and also the "IN" thing now.....Restaurant City and How Well do you know Me? quizzes....I am confident in saying that i started the trend one HAHAHHAHA after i start then suddenly SO MANY people start.... ;)

Restaurant City is CRAZY MAN!!! Hahahah Steph and I are competing on who will have the BEST restaurant WAKAKKAKAKAK

Btw both games are FB games! HAHHAHA

So I guess that's it...in about 20 hours time will be watching Angels and Demons with my connect group members :) hahaha

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! IM SO RELIEVED! [No not the toilet type of relieved] relieved! Becos exams had just ended for me last Wednesday!

I so much wanted to type something in this blog right after the exams, and actually started on a few lines on Thursday (the day after the last exam) but got distracted. By what you may ask? Well, im not telling. Why? Becos! im a woman of mystery.

Ok la, it’s tv.

HA HA. &that’s really all I’ve been doing the past few days! I was a couch potato. Don’t judge me. But I did manage to get done some things-to-do-after-exams! Like organize/rearrange/puncher/stapler/file my messy MESSY notes (slightly dangerous when you’re eyes are glued to the tv screen), cleaning my room (in progress), folding messy clothes on floor (also in progress). So it’s basically been this:
Wednesday evening – sleep & TV!
Thursday afternoon and evening – TV & notes organizing (SG postponed to saturday)
Friday – oh this was a blur of hairspray + wolverine + push + ice cream bars

Yesterday (Saturday) however, I finally got some sense to step away from the telly. And decided the night before to jog that (sat) morning. The jog is supposed to initiate my start of a more productive holiday. So the plan was, wake up at 5am and go to the nearby *empty plot of land* to jog. Anyways, long story short, lunch plans were made for Saturday afternoon which somehow eventually led to me teaming up with jasmine (a friend from church) for an early morning hike at tasek lama.

So the initial plan was:
sleep early at 12am, wake up at 5.30am, hike/jog at tasek lama till 8ish?, back to my place for a shower, pick angel (my sister) from her school, back home, then out for lunch at this great Indian restaurant, hang around for a bit, pick Derek from AC2, and off to SG and. Etc.

This was what happened:
Couldn’t sleep (found out much later on it was the night before that time of the month.. too personal? Anyways), had flu symptoms (aiya not swine flu la).. (In Jesus’ name!!) so took the pink pill* which sent me straight to zz land at 2am. Rain and the late night sleep cost me the morning jog, so jogged in the hot sun at 1.30 that afternoon. .. haha ok, this story’s getting pretty lengthy. So, the end.

Ha ha. But SG (cell group for young adults) was fun! They were having a pictionary game, and it was so funny.

Ok I’m pretty rusty with blogging, so I’ve yet to master the art of filtering out useless information. Which probably is all of the above, because how can any of these be useful for anything like research? Would anyone really take anything from this post (like the dragon picture) for research? If they do, doesn’t that leave you wondering what kind of research is that?

Hahaha told you the next post was going to be a good one :P Oh the pasta was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NICE!!!! Also found in the sauce is pig's FATS!!! HAHAHAHA only I would ever use pig's fat as an ingredient! There's also Philadelphia Cheese and of course Milk!!!

The reason why the fettuccine looks green is because it's SPINACH FETTUCCINE!! They ran out of the normal ones....hahaha but it still tasted GREAT!!! *RAWR*

the death of me!

SO EMBARRASSED, OUTRAGED AND now....RELIEVED!!!!

Yesterday....the 12th of May 2009 I was in a hurry to take a shower and I ACCIDENT LY locked myself out of my room at 2pm with NOTHING but a TOWEL leaving EVERYTHING ELSE in the room!!!!! I had only ONE shirt that was hung on the outside and NOTHING ELSE!!!

So summing up ALL of the courage that I have and putting on the thickest face you can ever imagine, I wore the shirt and towel that I had and went down to the office to ask for the keys to my room! And I must have gone up and down, from my room on the 11th floor to the office on the 1st floor, like more than 8 times!!!! Only to find out that the office had duplicated the WRONG KEY FOR THE ROOMS!!!!

They only had the key to the OTHER ROOM!!!! And not my room!!! So the only way for me to get into my room was to wait for my roommate!!! So guess how long I waited in the LIVING ROOM with NOTHING BUT A TOWEL, in a HOT SINGAPORE AFTERNOON with NOTHING TO ENTERTAIN ME?!?!?

I was in the living room waiting until NOW!!!

12.53AM on the 13th of May 2009!!!

Which mean I was waiting for my ROOMMATE FOR LIKE ALMOST 11 HOURS!!!!! *UGH*

I know if you have nothing nice to say about a person don't say it! BUT *UGH* TWO of my other roommates came home at about 7pm! And I was SOOOOO HAPPY cause I thought I could have borrowed their phones to contact the person who has my room key, BUT they don't have WORKABLE PHONES!!

So I waited again and in pops another roommate....not the one I was looking for....at about 10pm! ECSTATIC at this point, I was REALLY SO HAPPY to see him! And HE HAD A WORKABLE PHONE!!! So I was able to contact the person with the keys to my room and he said that he would be back in 1hour time!

So I waited and WAITED and he only got back at 12.53am!!! Reeking of alcohol!!! Not that I am not grateful that he came home! BUT *UGH*!!!

11 hours gone JUST LIKE THAT!!!!! I was so angry!!! :@

I couldn't leave the apartment cause I only had a towel! Even if I had clothes I had no money! *UGH*!!!

So for 11 hours!! I just stayed in the living room!!! I did however got to fry half a chicken with batter, made vinegar pork and "baked" potatoes, but *UGH* 11 hours just GONE never to be seen again!

I did clean the kitchen....took my sweet sweet SWEET time showering......TWICE......then I played with poker cards by MYSELF here and there......it was so sad....

The only PRODUCTIVE thing that I did in the 11 hours was had a MUCH REQUIRED quiet time!!! To cool things down and to calm myself.....sigh~

moral of the story: Even when you're in a rush THINK THINGS THROUGH!!!!!!!

There was one thing that I learned however from this ENTIRE ORDEAL!!! Although having NO CONNECTION TO THE OUTSIDE WORLD AT ALL for like 11 hours....I have to say that the 11 hours did seem to fly by very fast! For that I have to Thank God!!! I know that I know that I know if I hadn't taken time to spend my quiet time with God, I would really go BERSERK!!

So friends who are reading this post....just bare with all the *UGH-NESS* of the post, just needed to RELEASE....I mean who can I call at this time......

I GUARANTEE the next one will be a GOOD ONE :D

Don't get frightened with the title...although...since I have now asked you to not get frightened by the tile you're probably getting a little bit frightened hahahaha

So this week was truly productive! Well not THAT productive but it was more than satisfying...can't seem to find the exact word that I want to use to describe this week...

But anyways....don't you just love my post title??? I am now starting to be as creative as possible in naming my blog posts :)

BTW Thank You Daph for TAGGING!!! My other friends.....you have now made me very the....

HAHAHHAHAHAH So yes anyways, within a week...technically in just 6 days....well less than 6 days....I have finished reading the entire Twilight Saga :D and also watched the Twilight Movie and listened to the entire Twilight Soundtrack HAHAHAHHAHAHA

I didn't spend like 144hours (6 days) STRAIGHT just reading the entire saga comprising of 4 books, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.......that'll be kinda well sad if I did spend 144hours straight in just reading....hahah kinda nerdy and according to a cg member who reminds me of Jason and Rich and Mark all rolled into one, gay....

Hahahah according to Miss Chua Ee Ying I'm so not spiritual for reading the saga~ How I miss hanging out with Joyce....

So yes the entire saga was really really GREAT :D it was kinda like Harry Potter only less Magic and more Romance ;)

A lot of the parts of the story, the way the author, Stephanie Meyer, just writes and describe love and eternity and sacrifice, alot of it reminds me about some biblical truths....I am NOT saying that vampires are real~ HAHAHHAHA that'll be OVER~ I am talking about instances like in Breaking Dawn the final installation of the saga Stephenie Meyer wirtes:

When you loved the one who was killing you, it left you no options. How could you run, how could you fight, when doing so would hurt that beloved one?If your life was all you had to give your beloved, how
could you not give it?
If it was someone you truly loved?

It just reminds me of how far I would go for God, not that God will ever be killing me lah, but you get the point.....giving sacrificially, giving your all to God and knowing that He will take care of the rest :)

So overall I really loved the entire saga :) it had a happy ending :) which made me love it even more :D

So besides the vampire saga and what not, I also got a letter from the Blood Clinic (my blood donation thingi) that I am officially belonging to the Blood Group.............

On the very same day we had to do BLOOD TESTING IN OUR HUMAN GENETICS LAB!!! Hahahahah I was overly excited and one of my classmates said "I think you're too engrossed in the Twilight Saga" HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA but I loved the lab lesson not because I suddenly loved blood so much but BECAUSE I find blood testing VERY FASCINATING!! I had to prick my finger twice.....cause the lab assistant didn't know how to collect my blood -_-

But it was really fun! Wish I had taken pictures of ALL THE BLOOD!!! >:) MUAHAHHAHHAHAHAH from the experiment it further confirms that I am A positive!

I was telling my mom how A+ totally suits me....cause I am such a wonderful person that even my blood agrees with it....I am an A+ person ;) HAHAHAHHA get it?

Also got to cook PASTA!!!!!!

Was so happy that I got to cook pasta hahahah it has definitely been awhile since I've cooked pasta and it turn out DELICIOUS :)

Mother's DAY!!!! Really did wish I could have celebrate it with my mum.....how I miss her so much! So I did SMS and EMAIL her both of which were SUPER LONG!!! I mean if you think my post is long....you've yet to get an email from me :P

Mother's Day Service was HILARIOUS!!!! The Drama as usual was FIRST CLASS!! Pastor Derek shared the word on how Godly Women has the Ministry of Teaching, Loving and Building :) It was very inspirational!

Now it comes down to the topic of faith!! hahahah not that pasta or Mother's Day has anything to do with the "bloodlust" but didn't want to give the post a title like "bloodlust, pasta, mum and faith"........so long and not as eye-catching :P

So yes FAITH!!!

It is IMPOSSIBLE to please God without Faith!! Cell Group!! W372, it was where the Faith was just ignited in me once again :D to do the impossible, to stop being safe! To move mountains after mountains with nothing but the faith of a mustard seed :D

No I am not talking about my emotions or my well being or anything to do with me for that matter....but then again....well it all depends on how you look at it....are you confused yet? or are you hooked? OR are you just too turned off by how long winded these first few sentences are that you just go *pfffft* ?

I am referring to the weather at the moment! Hahahaha....seriously though this is like the first ever thunderstorm that I have ever experienced in Singapore, there's such a DOWNPOUR of rain and don't get me started on the lightning and thunder that seems to be fighting over who can get more attention.....Just 5 mins ago the electricity to my place came back on...

Oh yes did i mention that from 1.30am till about 2.00am my apartment had a blackout! And it was only MY apartment -_- we had to cal the security guy to see what happened but it's all good now....the power is back on and I am able to safely use my laptop again....yes, outside it's still raining cats and dogs, wind howling, lightning flashing and thunder well...thundering....oh oh oh you can say booming...but it doesn't have that effect that I want so we shall stick to thundering....BUT in my room now I am feeling safe and comfortable :)

It's been only a week since I last blog....but apparently a week is too long....*ahem* *dia..* *ahem* *ahem* *...na* *ahem* *ahem*

It was so good to have Darryl leading in cell group!!! Every cell group meeting is just so wonderful! Every week I always look forward to go to cell group! My first Labs for the term!
It was FUN! Got to play with bacteria! Ok not play but I love lab lessons! We did some culturing of bacteria, streaking of bacteria to get single colonies, cell counting and staining :) We had E.Coli and Strap.Arous....well something along that line...Hahaha and after labs...when i reached home...i got a slight fever.....I am not saying that it was the bacteria...i am just saying that i got sick :P

It was RAW!!!!! Not bad~....i summed it up in one word...now it's a thing like among the guys in my cell group to not let the girls know EXACTLY what we learned....so we only give like vague answers all the time HAHAHHA for instance...

Girl CG member: So what did you all learn in the Men's Conference?
Guy CG member: We learned on how to treat woman better.
Girl CG member: Ohhhhhh like what?
Guy CG member: Aiyah you know lah...
Girl CG member: No i don't what exactly did you all talk about?
Guy CG member: EH *another Guy CG member's name* what did we learn yesterday ah...she wants to know....

Now this is just PURELY an INSTANCE!! If for some reason the INSTANCE seems familiar and seems to be what you've just experienced it is PURELY a COINCIDENCE :P

Of course we're not THAT selfish lah! When we DO learn about things that can be SHARED among BOTH sexes.....then we will share! but some things are just GUY stuff and some are just GIRL stuff...

But the meeting was AWESOME!! And I got to just put this in....so we had a hot dog eating competition...and it was HILARIOUS!!! Seriously!! I have never seen an eating competition with such POISE and such ELEGANCE and such MANNERS!!!! It's like this....

Hahhahahahahahhahahahahahahaha I think it's cause of the entire setting...not because they can't! But it's in an air-conditioned placed with all your leaders standing right in front of you and you're wearing very nice clothes....you get the picture...so OF COURSE you gotta eat ELEGANTLY even though it was an eating competition :P

-IT WAS JAW DROPPING!!!!!! I was totally inspired!!!!! I mean like WOW!! Like OH MY GOSH!!! You have not seen an Evangelist UNTIL you've seen DR. STEPHAN K. MUNSEY!!! I mean such PASSION such DRIVE such POWER such ANOINTING such LOVE for GOD!!! The message was for those who have yet to know Jesus as a friend, as a lover, as a redeemer! It was just WOW!!! Love is not a feeling not an emotion it is something that makes a decision, it's something that changes you, something that brings you to another level!

Of course there are other HU HAs (not "has" the english word but HAs the sound as in HA HA HA HA HA but with just one HA and with an "S") if you get what i mean ;)

So yes there of course are other things that went on, but I'll spare you from thinking "Ugh...is He going to go on and on and on about some other thing" :P

So on a more lighter and funner and less disgusting note....referring to the chocolate post, here's my very productive Monday!!!

Went to NUS to meet up with Alicia, Amilyn and Stella, bearing a gift....Strawberry Cheesecake!!!

Oh I know those of you who are not in Singapore right now are jealous~ HAHHAHAHAHA When I am in Brunei and you're in Brunei I'll make it for you too ok~ You just need to let me know EARLY so got time to make....it needs to set overnight~ HAHAHHAHA

So of course everyone was a happy camper! Hahahah it was GOOOOOOOD~ THEY SAY ONE OK~ I am not so perasan to say that my cheesecake was GOOOOOOOOD~ siok sendiri~ Hahahahahah but also to me it was good lah ;) but yes from constructive critism I'm going to make the cake less sweet and more crust the next time ;) I am more of a sweet tooth you see....BUT i did use RAW BROWN SUGAR to be considerate :)

We then went to Amilyn's room to tapau the remaining cake cause the canteen sold plastic containers at $2 EACH......

I know~ So we were all just in the chillin~ mood when i saw........MONOPOLY!!! The new SET ONE!!! So we all decided to PLAY IT!!! Like a fast game which ended up being around 2 hours long....HAHAHAHAH

It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL leh~ We don't get money anymore! We use CREDIT CARDS!!! The first thing i noticed about the credit card was the name so i said "My name is Charles B Darrow, what's your name"..........sekali ALL THE CARDS HAS THE SAME NAME......beh pai seh~

So yeah everything is like times $100,000+ so like starting money is like $15 MILLION!! And when you Pass Go you get like $2 MILLION!!! Hahahah of course every property up price lah.....Stella said that it's due to inflation! HAHAHHAHAHA So like the FIRST property is like $60 THOUSAND!!!

So all the credit cards has a unique indentation which helps the device below to read it and stuff, so we key in the money earned or loss or transferred from one credit card to another using the device below! COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL RIGHT~~~

The "houses" in this version APARTMENTS can be STACKED!!! So when you stack it up it kinda looks like HDB um....or is it HBD.....HAHAHAHAHAH aiyah one of those lah FLATS!!! I had so much fun with this new found addition to the game! Wakakakakak

The pieces also very cool!!! Got MacDonald's Fries....which i choose naturally~ Then a laptop, Starbucks coffee mug, New Balance Shoes, i think a Ferrari, and others lah! In the game everyone keeps going to jail! Hahahahah which was really good cause out of jail is like $$$$$$ out all the time!!! Amilyn...the laptop was like "EEEEEEEEEE why are you (me the fries) not visiting me in jail!" Hahahahahha

She got angrier when i visited Alica...HAHAHAHHAAH

At another point of the game THREE OF US!! Alica, Amilyn and myself visited the LONDON EYE....which was own by Stella!! Hahahahah so we decided to become tourist and took a group picture of all of us there at the London Eye!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAH What to do we've been Singaporeanized! :P

Of course the game wouldn't be fun if there was no winner right~ So for this game ALICIA (The new balance shoe) won with a WHOPPING $35.42 MILLION!!!!! Cause she owned BOTH the most expensive property and BUILT APARTMENTS!! And Amilyn and Myself landed at the MOST EXPENSIVE property and had to pay rent of like $14 MILLION!!!!!! So we contributed $28MILLION to her!

Then after the whole Game day, all of us had to go! Alicia and Stella had to go back to study and I had to get to school! It was Human Genetics which i find very very interesting! Also it was one of my classmates, Yin Yings 21st Birthday (on Tuesday lah her exact Bday) but she brought us food from MALAYSIA!!! Oh how I LOVE MALAYSIAN FOOD!! Hahahahah

It was really yummy! :) So funny the name "Mr.Baoz! This food will change your Lifestyle"

Hahahahahah I got the wasabi one~ It was AWESOME!!! :D

So yes that was my productive and very light-hearted and Happy Go Lucky Monday :D

So hahaha i'm currently in my microbiology module....Which is kinda dry cause my lecturer usually just reads from the slides....BUT i just learned something cool......And disgusting also....But to me it leans more towards being cool HAHAHA

So here it is......

The MAIN constituent (ingredient) of chocolate is HUMAN HAIR!! :O

HAHAHA This is because the amino acids that make up the basis of chocolate is obtained from the breakdown/decomposition of HUMAN HAIR by different kinds of BACTERIA!! And the reason why chocolate doesn't taste like hair is because of the sugar and cocoa that are included.....BUT the main body and its full richness comes from HUMAN HAIR!

APPARENTLY countries around the world makes MONEY from EXPORTING human hair for this very purpose!

In other words.....When we're paying like $6+ for a GREAT chocolate bar we're in fact paying $6+ to eat HAIR!!

HAHAHAHAHAHA oh how i just love finding out about how things are made ;)

But of course i'm still going to eat my share of "human hair" whenever and wherever i want.....Nothing can ever cause me to stop eating chocolate....Not human hair, not rat hair or cockcroach parts (now this is a whole 'nother story)

Well I am not actually playing house....I don't even know what playing house means...but i thought that "Playing House" seems appropriate for this post :P hahaha

This has nothing to do with playing house.... This is a HUGE paper swan...origami...that i did during my Developing Professional Skills 1 (linked) module....HAHAHHAHA I was bored ok~ I mean if you follow my blog.....DPS1L.....that's the short form of my module.....is SUPER BORING!!! but but BUT I am still doing well in my class!!! :D hahahahahah although it's dry and boring MUST do very well!! Hahahahah It's just in class i STEALTHFULLY fold the paper swan.....cause wanted to BE GREEN!!! Save paper HHAHAHAH i still have the swan....i didn't throw it away :P

So yes.....on Friday I went to a HOUSE can you believe in a HOUSE in Singapore!!! Got swimming pool again leh~ HAHAHAHAHAH Sakai i know! But How many of you can say that you've been into a HOUSE with a SWIMMING POOL in SINGAPORE!!! I mean Condo ok lah~ but HOUSE?!?!?! Hahahahah

Went with two of my classmates Pwint Nee from Burma and Anitha from Sri Lanka! It was the house of Pwint Nee's parents' friends! And it was awesome! We just chilled by the pool and had a great time just assisting Pwint Nee making the most FABULOUS CHICKEN CURRY you have ever tasted for the hosts of our evening and enjoyed a HEAVENLY cheesecake with a chocolate as in PURE MILK CHOCOLATE base!!!! :D

They, the couple Dr. Allen and Jean, even had a BACKYARD!!! I mean WOW!!! Hahahah they live like walking distance from the Botanical Gardens again~ hahahah I know it's like so obsessed over a HOUSE but it's not really common for us.....immigrants...HAHAHAHHAHAHA to go to a HOUSE in Singapore! I mean when we here the RENT of the place we're like :O

The really cool thing about their house is that it's FULL of statues and stuff like those that you can find in a MUSEUM!! I mean incredible! It's cause they have stayed in different places so now that they're in Singapore they brought everything over! Things from Indonesia/ Thailand/ Burma and etc! Really had an awesome time with them :D learning about what they do and what they've accomplished!

OH OH OH also! For snacks Jean served us Crackers and Cheese!! hahah as we're not American we don't get that so often! And i finally tried BLUE cheese for the first time!!! And it was GOOD!!! I LOVED IT!!! Oh I am craving for it right now......and yes Blue Cheese is basically expired cheese.....well technically cheese on its on is expired milk HAHAHAHAH so Blue Cheese is even more expired HAHAHAHAHHA i mean it has fungi or is it mould on it HAHAH but it was DELICIOUS!!!!

When I am in Brunei in July, I'll be experimenting with Blue Cheese!!! So friends who are going to eat at my place....WATCH OUT!!!! :D

bat caves, human graves, baby faves and Easter raves

Yes, yes it has been awhile since I blogged, let alone went online, have just been in limbo (Internet wise) hahahah so I'm back in action! Blogger, Facebook, Twitter and what not~

Continuing from my Penang trip....my dad brought us to a BAT CAVE TEMPLE!!!

I mean freaky~ and also COOL!!! I was so close to the bats!!! They weren't in cages or anything! So when I took the pictures my flash was on and THREE of them actually FLEW down and I think they wanted to attack me BUT when they got closer....I figured they decided to better not risk it cause I am much bigger then they thought HAHAHAHAHHAHA

So I was in Penang not so much for holidays but for the Ching Ming Festival......here's some pictures....

When you ask my parents why do we actually put the flags or the gold+white paper on the grave here are the responses:

Mum: *gives you the look* (you know the look that tells you) "if i say put just put, don't ask so much"

Dad: "for decoration so the grave will look nicer"

HAHAHAHAHHAAH In other words they also don't know~ HAHAHAH I am guessing they put it because.........other people put so they also want to put HAHAHHAHAh No seriously we never actually put before one! Until my parents saw other relatives put...then they follow....hai~

It seems like I went for a tour right~ hahahahah taking pictures here and there~ I kinda did, my dad took this trip as an opportunity to bring me to places in Penang that I've never been to before like the Penang Dam! It was cool ok~ but didn't bring my camera :(

So in one of the temple where my grandfather's remains were kept....basically a temple lah I made a new friend! Hahahahah I took like 30+ shots of the spider....didn't give him/her a name cause i didn't want to get attached to it! Wakakak but seriously you do get bored when your mum does EVERYTHING and just asks you to wait!

On a lighter note....

I laughed so much when I saw the number plate HEHEHEHEHEH "PEE" if only got a number plate PEE 247! HAHAHHAHA Get it~ my mum was like this most of the time.....

Texting 247....she should get a number plate of SMS 247 ;) HAHHAHAHAH

And here's JAYLENE!!! (well at least that's how i THINK her name is spelled....

Pissed cause got a foot in her spotlight...

but then....don't even know where the camera is.....

but still gets pissed if she's not the only one in the picture....

She may look adorable but OMG she SCREAM....not cries...SCREAMSSSSS BLOODY MURDER when she doesn't get any attention! Middle of the night! Early in the morning! Late in the afternoon! Basically when OTHERS are trying to SLEEP!!! Hahahah and again she's HUGE!!! Like she's only 7 months! And if you see her you'll think that she's at least 1+ years already :P

Then got back to SINGAPORE :) for EASTER!!!!

The Easter services was AMAZING!!! We had 18 different services over a period of 3 days!! I mean WOW!!! I only went for 3 of the services lah! And they were all POWERFUL!!! Thousands upon thousands of people gave their life to Jesus! Praise and Worship....anointed! Drama....first class! Preaching by Pastor Kong....out of this world!

For our cell group we had more than 19 friends who came for Easter :D PTL!!! And our friends got Easter eggs from us (actual hard-boiled and dyed chicken eggs not chocolate eggs) and we went crazy creative with our eggs! Hahahah

Made you laugh didn't I~ I told you that you would love this long awaited post hahaha, I have just been so busy with so many things between the dates of the 14th of March until today the 3rd of April! I mean this was how busy I was......

I didn't even get to do my laundry for over 2weeks!! I tell you it was HEAVY~ especially AFTER washing....water weight....

I was so busy with....EXAMS!!! First and foremost!! But it's all good~ I have a feeling that I did well....also because the exams were all MCQs hahahah

The cooking competition outreach that my CG W372 had ^^ my team won!! all the pictures are on my facebook :) I made the Strawberry Cheesecake ;) according to everyone (one of them actually doesn't like eating cheese) said it was delicious :D so happy!!! Also happy because no one had stomach ache after eating my cheesecake hahahaha Ling knows why~

Von came over to Singapore and THAT on it's own takes up like 48 hours in just one day! Hahaha over wah~ But mental lah this Von...she spent like....a person who owns half of bahrunei~ HAHAHAHA we.....actually I tried taking loads of pictures together BUT I lost all mood....apparently Adidas shoes were much more important HAHAHAH so I only got these two:

I don't like the first one....my double chin is SO OBVIOUS :( hahaha

This one nicer....well I look nicer lah Hahahaha Wei Ting also came over for SOT!!! Ting!! Stay awake!! It's always better to know the ending of EVERY STORY ;) I know that you know what I mean hahah :P

So just with Von....in a span of 2-3 days we went ALL AROUND ORCHARD!!! Hiked through City Hall!!! Went to Plaza Singapura JUST TO TRY ON ONE TOP AT DOROTHY PERKINS WHICH WAS NEVER EVEN BOUGHT!!! Went to...gee I don't know 15 different sports shops to find ONE pair of sport shoes...and ended up buying a totally different pair...spent like about 2hours in Marks and Spencer and spent over $500....You get the picture...with Von...you need your stamina! :P

I did manage to take some nice pictures :) when I was out with Von :) and I also helped her packed and this you've GOT to KNOW!!

Me: "Von why did you bring two of the exact SAME toothpaste?"

Von: "Oh :$ I brought only one and I bought the other one here in Singapore...*laughs innocently*"

EXACT same question was asked for two OTHER toiletries.... -_- and the response was the same -_- .....

Note: the 3 toiletries that were brought over from Brunei was still 3/4 full......

I ALSO DONATED BLOOD!!!! Woot woot~ 21st of March 2009!! Before finally going in to donate blood I "killed time" by doing other stuff.....

So funny!! the place where you donate your blood is called the BLEEDING AREA o_O

It's all good~ There's actually a funny story here...but this post is already getting a little long....hahaha and also i gotta wake up at 8AM!!!! So will post the "blood" story tomorrow :)

So after exams me and my classmates went for breakfast and we passed this line....

It was so Singaporean....hahahah one of my friends really...like REALLY wanted to know why everyone was queueing up and another said "actually I have a feeling that the back people just queued up cause they saw a line..." HAHAHAHAHHAH

After that went back to school.....so sad right....immediately after exam went back to school again hahahah I wanted to collect my assignments ok~ wanted to see how I did....I did good :) also got some pictures :)

Then went back to Singapore after 5 days in Penang to attend the MEN'S UNITED CONFERENCE!! It was AWESOME!!! Pastor Phil shared about being a Mighty Man! And it was such an anointed meeting!! Service with Pastor Phil was AWESOME TOO!!! it was like WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~

Then back to normal for like 3 days....and then.....I am now back in Penang!!! Hahahah Ching Ming Jie is tomorrow!!

I got to like drive from KL to Penang, drove for like 4 hours STRAIGHT!!!! Hahahah not bad right~

So now I'm just spending more time with my parents :) and also my aunt and my little 7motnhs old cousin :)

Went to visit my mum's aunts and uncles.....my mum's father's brother and sisters....in other words....my grandfather's siblings HAHAHAHA

She may look adorable....BUT OMG SHE'S *TA-BAK-CHOI!* Chubby and Fat in Tagalog!! Hahahah no seriously...she's only like 7 months but she has to wear 2 years old baby clothes!! I mean HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE! hahahahahah

Speaking of huge! I think I might be putting on weight....i mean my clothes and pants are not getting any tighter...Thank God! But I am eating like ALOT!! Hahahah here's one of such fattening things that I've been eating....my favourite flavoured chips :) TOMATO!!!

Maybe Von calling me Bernardo Tornado is not such a bad thing ;) hahahahah so yes! I've finally got my laptop back! And I've finally got time to blog!! It's LONG but you know you love me ;) hahahaha

This post is created in the honour of the most sexiest girl born on this day 20 years ago!! Do you really think that you know it ALL about her ;) well here's 20 things which you MIGHT not know about her majesty the Queen of Sexiness:

She's SUPER KINKY!! She LOVES taking pictures with poles ;) once she even forced a friend to do it with her in Rizqun :O
She's SO KINKY that once while pole dancing......using a rain pipe....there was so much enthusiasm that the pipe came lose...and came tumbling down HAHAHAHAH oh how i love that moment!
She nearly got eaten....ok maybe not eaten...but lets say attack along with her two friends by crazy ass dogs that seems to strategically surround them from all corners of the world!
She has her own "special" music video in memory of D.O.A
She's not really indian....her favourite food is a HUGE Big Mac washed down with McFlurry and her favourite holiday is Chinese New Year (cause of Ang Pows) when in fact she's suppose to love tandoori chicken and celebrate Deepavali wearing her super cool Sari...in fact i don't think I've ever seen her wearing a sari before...
Although not "officially" Indian, she still gets offended when you ACCIDENTLY colorize her....so watch out! HAHAHHAHAHA
OMG she is CHEAP!!! Like you have NOOOOOOOOOOO IDEA~ Hahahah but but BUT I am also really cheap! I mean we buy our clothes from outlet stores and we love them! Even at such outlet stores we or more specifically SHE can still spend over $100 Hhahaahha do YOU have a problem with that~
When really nervous especially in meeting David Beckham...she has NO IDEA on how to act....but seriously how many of us really know how to act around celebrities....
She's a Gold Digger....HAHAHAHAHAH so watch out guys HAHAHAHAH ok this is NOT proven YET!! But the future will determine whether this holds any substance HAHAHA
According to one of her friends....her mum owns a "sniper" :O hahahahaha so again guys watch out...however the sniper seems to be only used on that friend of hers!

Once she was caught playing with "dirty balloons" (which are used for protection) in the class in her Secondary Years.....HAHAHAHAHAH if you know what i mean ;)
She loves using the PAINT program on her computer for cutting and pasting in "editing" and "fantasizing" with the sole purpose of creating the perfect......HAHAHAHHAHAAH
She's the BEST manual car gear shifter any driver (in his most vulnerable state) can ever ask for HAHAHHAAH
She can EAT!! Like oh my can she eat!! McDonalds followed by IDEAL followed by Chills followed by Jolibee followed by Kokoberry followed by Fratini's followed by Coffee Zone followed by Escapade Sushi followed by Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf....there goes you're yearly allowance in one day....
She would go to the gym just HOPING that she would bump into my two guy "friends" seeing if anything would happen HAHAHAHAHHAHA
She's all out in following another friend who would in-turn drag me along to go guy stalking...only to find out....:O
She was once stuck with two friends and had no choice but to take a boat followed by a taxi to the most happening place in town only to seek cover to avoid embarrassment from "the couple" HAHAHHAH
Would have SELECTIVE HEARING......insisting that she heard ERECT rather than the word REACT and in a CLASS full of NOISY TEENS, although at one end of the class she can hear words such as bra/briefs/circumcised/sex/and other words related when it is being uttered at THE OTHER END of the class....and IMMEDIATELY her head would turn to the direction and she would be HOOKED onto the conversations that would evolve HAHAHAHHA
ABOVE ALL ELSE, the MOST IMPORTANT, MORE IMPORTANT than points 1-19 She is without a doubt the most caring with a K, most Remarkable, most Youthful, most Special-one of a kind, most Talented, most Loved/Loving, most Extraordinary woman that anyone can ever get to know!!!!

Oh today was really a WONDERFUL DAY!!! I really had a GREAT time on my 20th birthday today!! Go on laugh it up, "hahahah" Bernard is 20 liaw~ so old already.....for those who are younger....you'll be getting there soon, for those who are older.....what more is there to say >:) hahahaha But thank you ALL for making today such an AWESOME DAY!!

Woke up to I think 7 different messages, and one miss call from joyce HAHAHAh i mean i'm not awake at 9AM YO! HAHHAHAAH Then Joyce sms, eh call me back i got something great to tell you HAHAHAHAHHAHAAH I love joyce and her creativeness! HHAHAHAHA So i called...she rejected....then she called me back HAHAHAHAHAHA

Darryl brought me out for lunch today at NYDC Suntec City! Hahaha I overate today loh~ Hahaha Darryl was SO NICE!!! Kept making sure that I got what I wanted and that also I would get something extra for my birthday! Thank you Darryl!! I really enjoyed myself with Darryl today! We talked and I just shared my heart out to Darryl and it was GREAT :D

As I was suppose to meet Xue Ni at City Hall at 6.45pm....I didn't see the point in going all the way back home, then coming back out again, so I wanted to go to sit at Starbucks to just chillax and study a bit, but Darryl suggested the Library at Esplanade! IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOO WOW!!!
That's just the outside! Inside cannot take pictures lah, but it was SO COOL!!! GET TO RENT DVDs AND CDs!!! Not like old old OLD ones as in movies like Flubber (loves it~) but NEW MOVIES and CDs!! I was BLOWN AWAY!! So i did get distracted for like 30minutes lah HAHAHHA but but BUT i made up my mind to sit down and study! And i DID :) for like over 2 hours straight :D not bad right~

Then went to meet Xue Ni, and I love walking to Esplanade via the tunnel, it's so inspirational! The artworks that are on display! To me the most creative would be

It's a display showing a mannequin and the artist was portraying a mannequin which has had it with us "dressing" him up. Tired of wearing Ralf Lauren shirts, Nike shoes and Gucci underwear! It was really cool :) So i just had to take a picture of "him" hahaha

Then we met up and John, Kiat Seng was there too! So we decided to go to Makansutra....the Glutton's Bay at Esplanade to have dinner!

We had chicken wings, prawn ommelette, sting ray and kangkung! Hahahah had a wondeful time! Xue kept making me laugh so much, then this John again, saying how a girl looked like she was wearing P.E. shorts HAHAHA then Pearly and Tong Yan came!

Tong bought me a PRESENT :) HAHAHHAAH So cool leh! She wanted to buy me something cute! But it's so cool! IT'S A SPEAKER PILLOW!!!! So you can like plug your MP3 in and listen to music!! COOL RIGHT~

We then tool loads of pictures! But of course i'll only post the more glam pictures! Hahahah Tong Yan Kiat and I were "trying" to live the dream of playing drums....

Pearly was so excited that she got stuck in the middle HAHAHAHA

Tong and I wasn't as ambitious to get stuck lah.....cause you see the white sign that's hanging from the piano...it actually says....warning high voltage do not touch....HAHAHA

This part was really funny lah! It was really sweet also! They were all trying to distract me to surprise me and at one point Pearly was like "BERNARD" in my face HAHAHAHAH i did get shocked lah, then John and Xue Ni came with a cake and all of them sang happy birthday in PUBLIC! I am so blessed to have such a loving cell group! So touched :')

We then made our way to......STARBUCKS!!! I did get to go after all HAHAHAH to just chillax yo~

THEN THE MOMENT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.......FACEBOOK!!!! HHAHAHAHAHA Alice you got it SPOT ON MAN!!! How you know I wanted to see how many people would wish me HAHHAHAHAAH!!! NOT BAD RIGHT~ 99 NOTIFICATIONS LEH~ HAHAHAHHAHAH

It was like this the entire scroll down....notice the bottom 8 notification.....they're all from SANDEEP!!! So i thought it was going to like a super super SUPER long message....sekali.....-_- HAHAHAHAH no lah no lah! I LOVED IT!!!

But really today was an AWESOME DAY!!!

Mum gave me a free pass on my credit card >:) BUT I haven't used it yet lah HAHAHAH

Bev called me from UK one day earlier using her mobile again!

Krystle "tried" calling me using Skype from USA! It was so funny our "conversation" and she called at like 1AM HER TIME!!! Just to wish me Happy Birthday!!! Love Ya KRYS!!! You know I miss you so much!!! Can't wait to see you!!!

Then :'( SANDEEP TRIED SO HARD TO CALL!!! AT LIKE 12 MIDNIGHT HER TIME!!! From Australia!!! She tried calling 4 times!!!! BUT I DIDN"T PICK UP!!! Was so angry at myself!!!! I really miss you too San!! Gold coast...one day...one day! :D

Then Chee Yan message me from Malaysia such a funny message! HAHAHHAHAHA well it's an inside joke but i burst out laughing!!

I got wishes from all over the world! HHAHAHAHA One from Africa, one from India, one from Sweden in Swedish language, of course Brunei lah, one from Philippines, one from Hong Kong, now all I need is 200+ more countries to go HAHAHAHAh don't you just love facebook :D

Ending today with a BANG was a call made by Ling at roughly 11.59pm ;) LOVE YA LING!!! Then she messaged me again just to wish me a Happy Birthday!!

Made me cry only.....yes i did cry...and i am MAN enough to admit it! Hahahah

I do miss my family and friends in Brunei, but with my cell group everything is SO much more easier!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAAH So funny! So today, as in, at this moment in time, like really at 8.39pm we're (My BioMed class) having a computer assisted lesson about Immunohistochemistry BUT the there seems to be somthing wrong with the website so ALL of us are basically distracted now using the computer for "other projects" HAHAHAHAHHA

Some of us are using Facebook, others are using YouTube, well I'm of course using Blogger, still others are reading other people's blog, playing games online, and our lecturer is now just making conversation about our previous field trip!

So FUNNY!!!! This is what happens when we allow technology to take over the teaching......HAHAHAHA

OK NOW AT 8.46pm we're going to be dismissed! Hahahaha this is so silly, so till next time :)

So here's a very brief summary of what I've been up to! Too tired to write every single detail so brief notes will do :)

13/2 took my camera :D out for a run
sent Daph off in Changi Airport
went around City Hall after sending Daph off
had Chippy's for the first time!
went back to Boon Lay to sleep!
14/2 met up with Alicia, Amilyn and Stella
They were an hour late -_-
had lunch
went for Fish Spa :D
amilyn had her eyebrows shaped
went OG to shop for Alicia's or Amilyn's bag...
dressed up before going for an......
AMAZING service!
went home to prepare for different exams: essay writing, math test, poster presentation, oral presentation, spot test (drawing and labelling of images under microscope)
also did two lab reports
15/2 went for Cell Group :D new members! GREAT NEWS!! unsure if it's ok to post up or not...but it is GREAT NEWS!!!
went home and did LAUNDRY!! Over 30+ pants and shirts and what nots...
continue preparations for various exams
16/2 handed in lab reports
continue preparing for various exams....
17/2 continue preparing for exams! Poster completed!
EXAMS!!!! Essay writing and Math only!! It was really good ^^
back at home blogging!!

It's amazing to list down and see what you can do in just a 4 days :)
